I've gone down this path too and it's amazing! I had a beautifuly gentle and serene homebirth, I kept waiting for that moment when I would cry out in horrific pain and beg for drugs, but that moment never came. She came right out. It was amazing!!!
A shorter less painful birth is possible, but you have to take charge of your experience and prepare yourself. Mommas let me know if I can answer any questions for you or help in any way :)
brought many tears watching your video I can see what a wonderful and close family you have by all the hands during your labor and you have a blessed little baby . Many wonderful wishes to you and your family. God Bless You .
What a beautiful birth! Can you please tell me the song that is playing! It brought tears to my eyes! I am expecting my third child and we are planning our first homebirth!! Thank you for sharing!
beautiful video, I love the pic of Dad holding his little girl. When our daughter was born at home at sunrise, my partner ran out to tell the garbage collectors that he had a little girl! He just couldn't believe that we had produced this beautiful little princess!
I just wanted to say that that was very beautiful video, and I am truly touched. I am so happy for you and your family. Perhaps you already know, but there is a song called Zoey Jane by Staind...and I thought you might like to hear it (if you havent already!) Congratualtions, she is beautiful.
Beautiful Mother, Beautiful Baby...what a legacy to leave for your daughters! I have had 7 children' some born in the hospital, some at home, all natural...each is a miracle and a gift no matter where they are born. Thanks for sharing!
Oh hippieundercover how truley beautiful. Your facial expressions showed a relaxed look as though you had surrendered to let your body do as it was designed. Thank you for sharing....your daughter Zoey Jane is lovely!
Hi! I just wanted to say that this is SO beautiful! I had my first naturally in a hospital which was the most amazing, beautiful, difficult process. I wish that everyone could understand what an AWESOME experience giving birth naturally is! Giving birth has got a negative rap! So thanks for putting this up here. I wish I had something like this from my birth!
This is beautiful. I had my first son in the hospital because of complications, and it was clinical and frightening. Next time I am hoping that I can do it at home. I truly believe that unless there are complications, babies and mothers and their families are better off with home birth. Congratulations.
I'm very impressed with you! I think a home birth would be intresting, but if I did a home birth my baby and I would have died (she was too large and I have a very pettite pelvis).
Birthing in this way was the most cleansing, healing, gratifying thing I have ever done. Birthing is a completely natural process, that women have been doing on their own for thousands of years. Myself and many others feel that most interventions during birth are not needed. (for MOST births...) These interventions often pose more risks than necessary, to the mother and to the baby.
This was very touching. I don't see how on earth your choice was to do home birth. I am nervous about doing hospital birth. You have proven to me that there are some really strong women left out here in the world. What made you want to do home birth anyway?
she is beautiful i love the shot of her lil hand coming out from under the towel. made me tear up <3

You Tube is evil when it comes to copy right music. I would delete and repost your video. It was beautiful I'm due with my baby at any moment now :-)

For women with low risk pregnancies like my own, I feel that this type of birth is the safest for me and my children.

Thank you for your response. Birthing is a very personal, emotional choice. Each woman must search and educate herself, and make her own choice.
