  • AUTODESK IS SO FUN! LOL

  • excellent animation ..!!

  • Excellent job. 2 questions? what are the pins for at 0:40-0:43? Wha software did you use to model and animate this?

  • @4SCARECROWS - these are for positioning the upper part of box, so it would fit when you put the screws in.

  • this is just a helical gearbox not a transmission!!!

  • excellent!! thanks !!

  • you wouldn't have a copy of the drawings used for this assembly would you????? love to try modelling this.

  • Project is done in Autodesk Inventor. Probably a school project. Nothing special about design, function or presentation.

Takes about 2 months of application knowledge and a bit of Machining know-how to make this.

Oh well.. the casing is pretty ^^

  • great vid!

  • This is a gear reducer. Not shiftable transmission.

  • Very help full to any one who has never done work on a transmission like myself. First impression is . . . it's a bucket of bolts, lol. But also a masterpiece, thnx for the vid "***** *****"

  • thats impressive animation

  • holy crap, you obviously have alot of skill with CAD.

  • sencillo pero efectivo

  • very nice job, the music was also very good. I like it.

  • did ya use autocad or unigraphics???

  • A 1 gear transmission ? u r kidding here ....

    good animation though.....

  • thats what im saying lol

  • it was obviously a test project to get a handle on doing something larger, dont be a douche.

  • what the heck do I care about a 1 gear transmission for?

  • like car rover 216 si 1997

  • Very good model!

  • wow awesome

  • pretty awesome. the music went with it well.

how do you get the gears to push eachother?

    some kind of contact setting?

when i tried it, the gears kept slipping through eachother like ghosts.

    -=-PIRO-=-

  • if you havent figured it out yet it's a shaft that's needed for both to rotate on and then use motion contraint with respect to the planes of the gears. hope this helps!!

  • Fantastic! I´m starting use Autodesk and I´m searching for some tutorials, if u now someones I´ll very happy!!tnks

  • Cool!

  • man we have to do a project for our first year of engineering plzzzzzzzzz give us ideas to win the contest!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice!

  • I want to know what is the purpose to make the inclined threads like that. does it make less friction and more power.

  • WHOOOOO that was ossom verry good thx fore that man

  • Looks good, I know how much Inventor sucks for animations lol. That is one big box for 2 gears

  • Thank you for comment guys , btw , this clip has bg music, don't forget to turn on the speaker

  • I love this and would like to see more. As some one who is spatially challenged and does not understand anything mechanical, it was exciting to (REALLY SEE)for the first time how something like this transmission is put together and have an idea of how it works. What a great educational tool!

  • Wonderful!
