  • call me dumb for asking. but is this Thoma, WI?

  • best 13 seconds...unless the motor comes apart, then it turns into the scariest split seconds

  • well, i'm from hungary, middle-europe, but i love this sport! i watched it a lot when i was 6yrs old at eurosport. awesome!

  • airplanes are the most dangerous if we look at the pollution

  • Do not pay for Tractor Manuals,

  • As soon as jets shut down between flights, and you start paying my fuel bills; I will stop driving the shit out of my diesel trucks

  • heyawanna find a fellow who can satisfy my needs

  • @TreshJorgensen67 I would like to have the opportunity to satisfy your needs honey

  • forget all that. Its diesel folks. Diesel tends to be low on the COx and NOx stuff that is real bad. What you are seeing is particulate emmission. Essentially, soot. That just falls right back to the ground. So, not as dirty as one thinks, especially compared with gas vehicles.

  • Heres some facts for all you global fuckers out there:

CO2 is in fact good for the enviroment. Plant life NEEDS it.

Scientists have proven the theory that CO2 is HEAVIER than O2.

Trains give of more "good stuff" than tractors.

Volcanoes eject 85% of the CO2 in the air. (should we just grab a cork and plug volcanoes now??? cmon.)

There is 0.0041% CO2 in the atmosphere.

Humans make about 0.00000675% of the CO2 in the atmosphere.

    Any questions?

  • Hmm...

CO2 is good for plants. I'm not a plant, are you? A certain amount of CO2 is good, but too much isn't. 20lbs of bacon in a day would be too much of a good thing, too.

Trains give out more emissions because they're big. They also move so much cargo that they get 430+ miles/gallon/ton. Per unit of cargo, which is what matters, everything else is bad.

The root problem is that we are importing carbon from the past. With ALGAE FUEL, you can run your 426 Hemi cleaner than any Prius!

  • @JETZcorp

ya i know. im just tired of all the environmental hippies, complaining and bitching about global warming. thats all

  • @goober239 I hear you on that one. There are a lot of people that go way too far and pay far too much attention to the little things. As if properly recycling a milk carton is THAT big of a deal. I tend to focus more on the larger issues and larger solutions. That's why I'm a big proponent of algae-based fuels, because unlike any other solution on the books I've seen, it allows us to keep running big-block V8s, smoke-spewin' tractors, and all that good American stuff as much as we want!

  • @JETZcorp do you know that they make locomotives now that have 3 hybrid diesel engines that prolly put off less emissons that your Prius you prolly drive

  • @DieselDoc83 The only way I'd ever drive a Prius, is if it had a Hemi in it. I've been planning a "Judas Prius" for some time, actually. I also wrote an essay exposing how over-rated the Prius is, and pointing out that a steam locomotive is cleaner per passenger mile. You'll note that below I mentioned the possibilities for algae-based fuels, which allow for existing internal combustion engines to run carbon-neutral with no modification. When that's available, I'm getting a '68 440 Charger.

  • @JETZcorp to make a note on your algae based fuels...I own a diesel shop that rebuilds fuels systems..injection pumps, injectors, turbos etc. and as of right now thanks to your algae fuels also known as Bio fuels it pays my bills quite well for the simple fact that the Bio fuels turn to sticky grime that cant pass through a fuel system and requires me to clean and rebuild them

  • @DieselDoc83 Different technology. Algae produce something almost identical to crude oil, which is then processed in refineries as crude oil, and produce diesel fuel that is, chemically speaking, identical to petroleum-based diesel fuel. It's exactly the same stuff. The only difference is that the carbon in the fuel came from CO2 taken from the atmosphere by algae, rather than being taken from the ground in Saudi Arabia. The engine will not know the difference.

  • are you serious, you are concerned with the effects of global warming created by a few tractors......shit....take a look at how we produce electric...just for starters....think before you comment

  • Screw global warming.... ;) this is too cool !!! Hahaha!!!

  • lol freeking rednecks

  • Dude I'm from Cali and this is one of my favorite motorsports...

  • These things are absolutely amazing..my uncle works on these all the time and looking under the hood of one of these is just awesome..The tractor my uncle mainly works on is redline fever..It's just cool how much work goes into these things and the massive amount of power they have.

  • thats alot of carbon particles.

  • Cool. Almost looks out of place to see a roll cage on a tractor. Five stars!

  • 5500 REVs ON A DIESEL ENGINE!!!??!?!?

thats a LOT of mass movin around like that

  • that is really cool.... i was just wondering if most of the drivers burn ethonal or some odd fuel...(not the jet guys) but the ones here or are they diesel either way truely impressive

  • no it is usually diesel but now we are seeing tractors runing alchohol but with alchohol it is a go or no go with them it is not a inbetween ether they pull like a freight train or the break trying to

  • I am not sure what pulls you go to, but all alchohol tractors are a go now a days. They almost always pull like there is no weight at all behind them. Just look at videos of The Big Toys. Silver Bullet, and The Bomb light alchohol super stock.

  • well i am just pointing out what i have seen i am not saying they cant pull they pull amazing i love to watch the big toy and all them alcys out there but i have seen them i have seen more of them break then i have seen diesels

  • yeah alcohol tractor are cool, but u get to see the black smoke in diesels :)

  • God damn this video has to be my favorite. Awesome Job!

  • The Schnitker's are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. My father used to pull a JD 6030 called the Midnight Flyer and he has a bunch of stories to tell about these guys, especially Dennis. Great video about great people.

  • Nice video and it truly is the best 13 seconds you'll ever have.

  • very well done i own a pulling sled and keeping everyone safe is the first thing then let the boys run hard n shut them down

  • Meltdown is good, but I won't pay money to see a tractor pull without the Black Savage. Black Savage is legendary in Southern IL. The Schnitker boys always put on an awesome show!

  • Can plant some serious soy beans with those rigs... ;)

  • Melt Downs My kinda Tractor

  • I wanna see one of these go without a sled haha

    Art (A Tractor Expert)

  • Great video go red power

  • Awsome love the vid!

  • Bet it does wonders for the environment.

  • Those D&R machines run harder than they let on lol with all the Green Machines Comming out of Tantrum they gots to be after the ITPA points after loosing by a couple to Little in 06

  • Nicely done.

  • Thank you very much for making such a video to communicate our beloved sport. I pull in the local circuit with a few other people on my team. My father and I are the primary tech men on the team; building the engines, deciding tire pressures and where to run on the track. I must say a full length 1 hour or even 30 minute special to be aired on TV would be awesome!

  • I agree!!!!

  • Yeah man, I'm from britain and this is the first time i a documentary perspective. Very insightful! I'm looking up a meet in NC right now! :)

  • Keep making more! we can always use more fans to the itpa.

  • has anyone every run one of these awesome machines down a quater mile to see how fast they are

  • the wheel speeds are in excess of 100mph if that says anything...

  • kickass sport

  • Brilliant, wish we had pulling like this in England!!!!

  • We do. Every year in the South West of England. Even bigger and more powerful machines than you see here.

Do a Google search and check it out.

  • respect from ireland

  • Not only in america..

  • Fantastic! Very professionally done. Should expand this to an hour long special for Discovery or TLC would be perfect for them. Excellent!
