  • Thanks for the comment, i'm glad the video helped you

The tonelab isn't really great for loops but the hold delay can be fun to jam a little..

    Congratulations on the acquisition!

    Cheers

  • wow man, i just got a tonelab se for 250 euros!!

Thanks for this video! Helped me getting the loop together, it's not the most practical but i'll get used to it! :D

  • omg dude i dont know if this is coinsidence but i have the same guitar and vox its a ibanez grg170dx am i right ?

  • @6paidaa I was using a RG370DX, it's very similar though. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!

  • can u tell me your drivw patch settings ?:)

    i mean the distortion sound

  • @fwtovolidas I used "AC Lead" it's a stock patch (comes with the tonelab), if you deleted it i can check the settings for you, or you can reset your tonelab to default. Anyway, the AC Lead is a AC30 with treble boost with some reverb, i guess.

  • so cool. I just bought this pedal, and I can't wait to use this feature live. it's one of the many reasons I bought it. no need for a rythm guitarist now!

  • @SekTauBand I'm sorry to disappoint you but i guess it's kinda hard to do that live, because you can't record the whole thing, and once you stop it, it's gone.

Not to mention the short time to loop, you can't loop a big riff.

But it's a GREAT pedal anyways.

  • @AllanHP actually I just tried it and it records sufficient for what we'll be doing even when the time is set to 4000. the only tricky thing is that it doesn't shut off right away when you click the control button. but, I haven't messed with it a whole lot more yet so maybe there's a way around that??

  • @SekTauBand Glad to hear that. I think if you turn it off before the loop finishes, it will still go on for a while, never tryed to find a way around that, maybe if you change programs or mess with the mix configs.

  • @AllanHP yeah, I think you have a good thought there. switching to another "duplicate" program may be the easiest/best way, I'll try that and see what happens! I mean you could in essence have four of the same program on the same bank, with slight variations between them for different parts of the song I suppose.

  • @SekTauBand ok. here's the workaround. if you go into "individual" mode where you can cycle the effects on/off individually you can turn off the delay and it stops immediately AND it keeps the loop recorded so you don't loose it when you click the delay off.

  • @SekTauBand That's excellent! Thank you

  • @AllanHP one thing I found out though too, is it is actually continually looping silently. kinda weird but, at least it isn't gone!

  • Feedback is 10?

  • @hrip85 I use 0, but it's a matter of taste, change it while looping, you will hear the difference.

  • This is excellent and useful! Thanks. Very clear.

  • @RFeynman thank you, i'm glad it helped...I noticed something usefull this week: if you are looping something, you can still change it's volume using the mix knob, usually i use it to "mute" when i do a pause and don't want to loose the loop.
