UP did the Swedish falls for the first time in CDC 2007. The all-male pyramid was only done in CDC 2003 and NCC 2007. Walang x-out toss sa NCC 2007. This year lang may Oblation sa choreography ng UP. Inverted splits, full-twisting layout toss, back tuck tosses, as well as the tumbling passes of UP are much too generic for you to claim that they're merely recycled. Oh, and by the way, to add to your list, UST repeated the flash kick toss from CDC 2005.

Pwede sigurong mandaya ang mga judges pero ang libo-libong tao nakakapanood at sumusubaybay sa UAAP cheerdance taon-taon ay kailanman hindi mo pwedeng dayain at lokohin sa mga nakikita nila. Alam ng tao kung sino ang tunay na magaling at kung sino ang mga nagtatanga tangahan lang sa katotohanan. Kayo mismo alam nyo na hindi nyo kayang gawin at higitan ang mga ginagawa ng runner ups lang. 5 time champion ka pero ang pinapakita mo ay hindi sapat para tawaging isang tunay na champion.

Kahit na runner up ka lang kung mas marami naman ang humahanga at umiidolo sayo mas masarap pa rin ang pakiramdam dahil daig mo pa ang isang na champion. C'mon guys, be nice to UST naman... they deserve it. Their routine might not be the best for the judges but it still rocked right? Sobrang pinaghandaan. May minor flaws but it was still wow. I'm not from UST but i think they deserve a lil credit for their performance.
first of all im a filipino-graduated from a university competing in uaap. just want to expres my disgust reading some of those comments posted here. why is it bad things are best seen by those students who are continually liftng their own school.

Dun sa mga taga UST na nagtatanong kung nasaan ang degree of difficulty sa "happy feet" portion sa routine ng FEU, obvious naman na ice breaker ng FEU yun at majority pa rin sa buong routine nila with highest degree of difficulty talaga. Eh sa UST nasaan ang buong degree of difficulty eh puro recycle naq nga lang ang dadali at very basic pa ang mga pyramids na ginagawa nila. Compare nyo na lang yung mga steps, pyramids at stunts ng FEU at UST saka nyo hanapin ang degree of difficulty.
it's not about what the theme is but more on..did the theme work.obviously, the ROCK theme of UP worked for them. maganda pa rin ang music ng UST dis yr but accdg 2 comments i read, it's the ready-made mix na SFX and a lil patch up na lng ang kulang n not frm ground zero. the dream-girls part was realy off! the reload (domino or series) of chairlifts is still there. The golden wigs were tacky.
noong una, it was ok that you use materials from previous year and give it a different twist.. but with competition such as this, so much more is expected. 5 yrs is 5yrs... though controversial yung 2005, still you've proven your worth. i liked the way gawi gracefully exited from the top spot.
at eto pa, kung papansinin nyo yung pagkalaglag ng isang gawi, may sound effect na ginamit na obviously, hindi bagay sa part na yun, be it the execution of pyramid transitions or any arm motion done on the final count of the pyramid... but it matched the manner the flyer fell... timing na timing... just an observation.

We've expected thtat we'll lose on this year's Cheerdance. Had we won, we could have been a Hall of Famer by now and wouldn't be competing for some years, I think. And do you think UST would like that? No way boys... UST is all about SYNCRONIZATION and BEAUTIFUL EXECUTION. Our pyramids maybe are recycled. FEU doesn't fall under these categories.. And besides, we were a mere point-something behind UP (0.5?). Hats off to them. Period. Go USTe!!

FEU's performance was very much O-V-E-R-R-A-T-E-D. Surely some of their choreography is quite fancy and amusing especially to those people with low-apprehension of "quality." UST's salinggawi still has the clear edge.

with UST, their routine this yr is absolutely brand new. it was the most fast-paced and most difficult in tosses and pyramid transitions. 1st time nila ginawa ang Xwing at one-count wolf wall, pati double at 2 and a half full twist.

Sa UST din lahat ng boys marunong magback-tuck, lahat ng girls marunong mag-heel stretch. ang UST tatlo lang ang palaging ginagawa each yr: the zigzag pyramid, pirouette, and chair lift domino. ang UP, oblation, inverted splits, all-male pyramid, swedish falls, at this yr ang entire NCC routine hahaha.

UP did the Swedish falls for the first time in CDC 2007. The all-male pyramid was only done in CDC 2003 and NCC 2007. Walang x-out toss sa NCC 2007. This year lang may Oblation sa choreography ng UP. Inverted splits, full-twisting layout toss, back tuck tosses, as well as the tumbling passes of UP are much too generic for you to claim that they're merely recycled. Oh, and by the way, to add to your list, UST repeated the flash kick toss from CDC 2005.

look at 2003 and 2004 performance ng UST. almost same stunts and pyramids.pedro dias, helicopter, walang kamatayang fouette. 2:20, that toss was recycled either sa 2003 or 2004 nilang performance.2:28, recycled din.they could be trademark but you need to create a new one.

...bukod sa tatlong sinabi ko, wala na. ang galing naman. 3 stunts lang ang inuulit (which are their trademarks at iba-iba pa ang formations, executions and transtitions), sinasabi na ng iba na recycled ang buong routine. sish. sa UP as early as 1999 nakikita ko na ang oblation at inverted splits, pati all-male pyramid since 2003. but no thomasian complained because we know what trademarks are. yung iba lang dyan ang mahilig magreklamo.

kung meron mang tunay na BITTER yun ay walang iba kundi ang UST. kaya nga ang saya-saya nila ng nanalo sila eh dahil hindi nila inaasahan na makakapasok pa sila sa top 3. nagchampion lang ng ilang beses akala kung sino ng magaling eh ang dadali naman ng ginagawa. pano ka tatawaging tunay na champion kung maraming may ayaw sa inyo. tignan nyo ang UP nung nagchampion walang umaangal at nagrereklamo, hindi tulad ng UST taong bayan na ang nagsasabi na hindi dapat sila nanalo.

Pano magiging bitter ang FEU eh halos lahat ng tao from different schools and even from UST, aminado na mas magaling talaga ang FEU sa kanila hallerrr! Kahit naman saan kayo magpunta at sino ang tanungin ninyo mas marami ang may gusto sa FEU kaysa sa UST. Mismong taga UST na ang nagsasabi na hindi nila gusto ang performance ng Salinggawi at puro recyle lang ang routine nila.

Check UP pep Iligan. Check FEU pep in Iligan. Kung sila nga nanalo at walang sumablay, baka nagkagulo na sa araneta. Still kahit walang sumablay sa ust, ang layo pa rin ng performance ng UP sa UST. goodluck nalang sa UST next year.

Eh bakit last year UP and FEU ang ininvite to think na hindi pa sila ang winners ha. But still they managed to give the people who invited them a spectacular show. And they managed to meet the fan's expectations.

Pwede sigurong mandaya ang mga judges pero ang libo-libong tao nakakapanood at sumusubaybay sa UAAP cheerdance taon-taon ay kailanman hindi mo pwedeng dayain at lokohin sa mga nakikita nila. Alam ng tao kung sino ang tunay na magaling at kung sino ang mga nagtatanga tangahan lang sa katotohanan. Kayo mismo alam nyo na hindi nyo kayang gawin at higitan ang mga ginagawa ng runner ups lang. 5 time champion ka pero ang pinapakita mo ay hindi sapat para tawaging isang tunay na champion.

Hindi sapat na 5 time champion ka kung hindi mo naman deserving ang lahat ng pagkapanalo mo. Kahit na runner up ka lang kung mas marami naman ang humahanga at umiidolo sayo mas masarap pa rin ang pakiramdam dahil daig mo pa ang isang na champion. Kahit hindi pa manalo ang FEU ang mahalaga alam ng lahat ng tao kung ano ang kaya nilang gawin. Champion ka nga pero hindi ka naman tanggap ng tao so balewala rin.

C'mon guys, be nice to UST naman... they deserve it. Their routine might not be the best for the judges but it still rocked right? Sobrang pinaghandaan. May minor flaws but it was still wow. I'm not from UST but i think they deserve a lil credit for their performance.

Dun sa mga taga UST na nagtatanong kung nasaan ang degree of difficulty sa "happy feet" portion sa routine ng FEU, obvious naman na ice breaker ng FEU yun at majority pa rin sa buong routine nila with highest degree of difficulty talaga. Eh sa UST nasaan ang buong degree of difficulty eh puro recycle naq nga lang ang dadali at very basic pa ang mga pyramids na ginagawa nila. Compare nyo na lang yung mga steps, pyramids at stunts ng FEU at UST saka nyo hanapin ang degree of difficulty.

it's not about what the theme is but more on..did the theme work.obviously, the ROCK theme of UP worked for them. maganda pa rin ang music ng UST dis yr but accdg 2 comments i read, it's the ready-made mix na SFX and a lil patch up na lng ang kulang n not frm ground zero. the dream-girls part was realy off! the reload (domino or series) of chairlifts is still there. The golden wigs were tacky.

at eto pa, kung papansinin nyo yung pagkalaglag ng isang gawi, may sound effect na ginamit na obviously, hindi bagay sa part na yun, be it the execution of pyramid transitions or any arm motion done on the final count of the pyramid... but it matched the manner the flyer fell... timing na timing... just an observation.

Yung behavior ng mga taga-UP sa araneta nung cheerdance grabe halatang-halatang mga taga-UP.. daming mga bading na parlorista akala mo nanonood ng liga ng mga tricycle drivers.. mas matino pa yung mga taga UE sa kanila. Buti na lang di sila natabi sa Ateneo..
Pero nakakatawa lang nung nalaglag yung sa UST as in buong araneta nagpalakpakan.. tapos ung UST side natahimik na lang. Saka ung performers parang nawalan na rin ng gana...

We've expected thtat we'll lose on this year's Cheerdance. Had we won, we could have been a Hall of Famer by now and wouldn't be competing for some years, I think. And do you think UST would like that? No way boys... UST is all about SYNCRONIZATION and BEAUTIFUL EXECUTION. Our pyramids maybe are recycled. FEU doesn't fall under these categories.. And besides, we were a mere point-something behind UP (0.5?). Hats off to them. Period. Go USTe!!

In terms of true meaning of cheering with highest degree of difficulty and perfect execution, UP at FEU lang nagpapakita nito every UAAP Cheerdance Competition. Nakilala lang ang UST sa mga pa-cute na steps, simple and basic pyramids at RECYLE na routine. FEU is really deserved and better than UST kahit noon pa.

teka, analyze natin bakit maraming school ang galit sa UST.. (pati Adamson may proof na nandaya daw ang UST ngaun).. kasi naman si Josh Pagtalunan (wow pare immortalized ka na!), 2005 judge ng UST na GAWI member, nagbigay ng 70+ scores sa lahat ng ibang schools.. kaya maraming galit kasi GARAPALAN ung pandadaya.. kaya nanalo UST.
kaya wag natin damay lahat ng UST sa pinagagawa niya.. at sa machinery dun sa pandaya ngaun 2007..

Great great! FEU's performance was just cute. plainly cute. Maski sila pa ang sinisigaw ng mga audience sa araneta( composed of 60% below the middle income students, coming from the lesser known and under privileged schools), their performance still is BELOW global standards. Pagsayawin niyo na lang sila sa wowowee o eat bulaga doon sila bebenta;)

hahaha... hindi napigilan ng lahat ng school na magsigawan dahil ang dali na nga ng mga pyramids ng UST nahulog pa. pasalamat pa nga ang UST at nasa top 3 pa sila... with their simple steps, simple pyramids and RECYCLE routine paano mananalo ang UST??? deserved lang sa top 3 ang UP at FEU sila lang ang sinisigaw ng lahat ng tao at ng lahat ng school kahit noon pa sila lang ang mahigpit na naglalaban na walang halong pandaraya kundi tunay na galing ang pinagbabasehan.

FEU's performance was very much O-V-E-R-R-A-T-E-D. Surely some of their choreography is quite fancy and amusing especially to those people with low-apprehension of "quality." UST's salinggawi still has the clear edge.

i totally agree. i mean what's with the yelow wig ryt? i admire them in past seasons but i ws really disappointd ths yr. mas ngdominate yung black sa costume nila. but i'd lyk 2 share bout jeffpack's comment 5, bout joggng instead of walk ms malinis kc pag walk transition instead of jog, tendency is, hindi nagssabay yung jog minsan.

i ws disapointed too kasi bet ko manalo ang FEU, kinabahan na ang USTE after nila magperform, plus ng UP na magaling din ang performance. wel im expcting 4 UST's comeback nxt season. sna ibalik nla yung toss nla na patwist sa ere str8 body lang na may slow mo effect nung 2006 i like that uber duper!congratulations to UP u deserve it! sa ibang schools: what's next naman kaya for y'all? amaze us next year!

,i'm frOm mindanao., when we saw the cOmpetition ds year, UP really deserve tO win..pero wala talagang mkakatalO sa UNIQUENESS at KALINISAN ng UST when it cOmes sa cheerdance. they're the best fOr us here., kung wlay sablay lang, mybe they'll get d' dOuble grand slam ds year. perO la tayOng mgagawa., UST is the best here kaya thOmasians..keep quite na lang kayO. stOp pOsting.,(BLessed are thOse peacemaker).
