Of course he let her go. It's part of the plan. For it to work, Elena HAD to go with Klaus.

And at the beginning, you can see that Stefan doesn't want to let her go. He was ready to fight against Klaus annd Elena made him come back to his senses. Whatt would you have him do?

I love this stelena scene:) This makes me cry everytime:,( Such an emotion scene. Paul Wesley is an amazing actor, Nina dobrev is too. This is why I love stelena, they meant to to be together. I was watching this episode the other day and my mum was in the room came in the room and having never watched TVD before (only getting the basic plot of it from me) saw this scene and was nearly in tears! It just goes to show how great this show is and how good Stefan and Elena are together

It is just me or does it annoy anyone else how NO ONE stands up to Klaus. It's like everyone acts like his little puppets. I would not have just stood there and let Klaus take Elena away I would have at least TRIED to beat some sense into him.

Their 'goodbye' is really sweet and I actually got a few tears in my eyes, but they quickly disappeared when Stefan called Damon and is all like, "Klaus TOOK her!" while he just stood there and did nothing! Klaus didn't take her, she gave herself over. And yeah, I know that there probably wouldn't be much he could've done, but he didn't even try!

omg cant stop crying through all the stelena scenes from this epic. bittersweet. beautiful yet heart breaking. cant wait to see what happens next. will elena survive and if so will she ever want to be turned or will she turn against her will... will be interesting. this makes me cry. at least stefan goes by what elena wants he loves her but knows she needs to make her own decisions. so selfless. stelena forever!
