I love the tempi. I dunno...I am researching as much C Kleiber as I can and as a concertmaster and orchestral (primarily operatic) violinist, I believe so much music suffers from lack of initiative from the conductor when the orchestra when we get the tune that it ruins the responsiveness between pit and stage. Thus Kleiber is someone with whom I dearly wish I could have worked.
