  • I like this much better than Worlds 2010 :) It was like I dicard, I discard, Jace, Grave Titan you lose

  • lol i heard his snotty nose at 0:38

  • Ugh, standard is so boring. I wish they'd show some extended.

  • are they playing with sealed decks o0

  • just saying... yugi is a joke. might as well play pokemon.

  • jeez, just my opinion, but dont like yugi, its terrible, when it comes to being a gamer, i fear no price (and im a poor bastard). its all about the fun factor and what i enjoy more, price never rules my fun. I love magic and always will :)

  • Casual MTG is funner than Yugi Casual because of the hundreds of options to play with, so basically the variety.

Competitive Yugi is funner than competitive MTG, though, because MTG has luck-based resources to playables ratios, and can utterly dead hand you at any point in the tournament. The creator realized this, and so invented the mulligan to attempt to solve the problem.

  • Okay, that was a great play by Mitamura.

  • u have to invest ot have good cards. Prices are quite fair now

  • it's way cheaper than yugioh, be happy with that.

You could make a tourney competitive deck with a couple hundred dollars, probably 500 at max when yugioh tourney decks cost 1000.

That's partially why I switched. All hobbies require some money and commitment.

  • Amen to that. Unlike Yugioh magic decks don't tend to have staple cards. The format is always changing.

  • @mysticnike yeah true that i hate absolutely HATE when someone shows a deck and there like 'brain control heavy storm monster reborn just staples'

  • well it depends on the format.

(i.e. a good vintage deck could run well over 2000 dollars depending on what's in it.)

but since most tourneys are in standard format

the price usually isn't a problem.

  • I go yugi over MTG because of money, actually. To run a decent deck in MTG, you may still need to spend upwards of $100 (lands I'm looking at you), unless you run about only one color, so your options for fun are limited. In Yugi just about anything you want can be good if you're a good deckbuilder and can get $20 worth of simple removal, stun, battle tricks, etc. There's actually quite a bit of cheap options.

  • somebody doesnt know what theyre talking about...

  • It's not my fault that the majority of MTG players are intolerant of being bested in a category by another CCG :P.

  • @SkyTitanGod I made a infinite damage burn deck for around 20 dollars and it has only lost because some lucky SOB pulled an Exodia.
