I just purchased the gambrel style one from Home Depot. I must say the instructions were a very cryptic. It really doesn't make sense for the floor frame kit and why did you put sand over the floor kit? I was going to build a wood foundation with pressure treated wood. So from your vid, I see that what I need to do is build the foundation, hen layout the flr frame kit and then start building from there. It wasn't very clear, but your vid helps a lot. Thx
Thanks for posting this...BTW, what was the size of your shed? I have a buddy landing up to help me assemble my 10x11 shed next weekend. The tip about pouring sand under the plywood floor between frame members is novel and not in the manual..I am surely going to do that. Did you put a plastic vapor barrier over the sand? The manual suggests having a sheet under the shed, wonder what you think?
I spent 11 hours on saturday putting up one of these sheds and the following monday one strong wind blew it away. did everything teh manuel said and I even put in extra screws to hold it to the base. waste of time and they should be taken off the market.
these shed are weak and they should be pulled from the market, they will not hold up to any type of weather condition any area will expose it to. I would not buy one and I would take it back if you have not out yours together yet.
i see you poured concrete in the floor frame.. i have a slab already poured.. is filling the floor with concrete still required ?? according to the directions
