  • A blessing for all yiddin out there-PUT YOUR CROWN ON!!!! The crown of Torah that The One gave us to perfect ourselves and human society. I love you holy Jews!!!!

  • I was born jewish, was not involved in the religion until age 17, but have now thank g--d been orthodox/ chasidic for six years after learning under a chabad rabbi for years. I really enjoyed the video and I can feel the spiritual energy is much stronger in Israel it really makes me want to consider moving there, shkoyach to rebbe moshe he makes many great videos, hashem bless him

This type of lifestyle is devoted to the Torah. Now you may here Torah this and Torah that but what it means to live a Torah lifestyle is to live by its precepts (commandments/mitzvas), to contemplate God, and your relationships with all human beings and all living things for that matter and knowing your place in this world.

  • Mazeltov! the little boy didn't cry! Can you tell me more about why the men & women never celebrate together, or dance? I am a reform Jew in America & was raised very strictly, but have never experienced orthodoxy, can you tell me why men & women can never be together. Also what do the women do when the men are off dancing & celebrating? I am very curious, there are Chabads all over all of a sudden & i don't know how they would accept me there,I want to learn more. Shalom

  • First off, Chabad is awesome and extremely welcoming, don't worry about not being accepted, your Jewish dude! Second (which is a little longer than the first).

The main reason why men and women don't dance together, or socialize a lot is to avoid any type of contact that could result later on into something that is not particulary conducive to a religious lifestyle. Now you may ask what type of lifestyle is this?

  • Thanks for answering me, but I am a woman, not a dude, ha ha! I do live by the Torah in my everyday life, mostly avoiding people I guess because they are all so corrupted. I am married though, for 15years now. My question is this : what is a married womans role at Chabad because whenever I look up the Chabads in my area, it seems that it only talks about the male & not the female. I dont have kids & am older now, live a quiet life & enjoy good things.I guess i am confused&curious bcause...

  • bcause I grew up in a reform congregation,we are very liberal & welcome people of all faiths as guests etc. we work with others for good causes. Father plays in 3 bands to celebrate Judaism & also raises $ sometimes for good causes. Whole family is involved in many good Judaic causes, but I live far from them in CA & there doesnt seem to be anyone my age in these types of congregations, plus they are far away to drive to. Chabad is everywhere in OC,CA & was curious about what they believe in?

  • so check out this:

Thank god Chabad has a wonderful website that will answer all your questions you may have. The link above is a site all about a womans role in Judaism! They also have a great ask the rabbi feature for personal questions.

  • Outstanding Meron!!

  • I love the festive feeling of lag b'omer

  • love jewish girls

  • only religious!

  • J87513 you are full of horse shit, look at the insults you have thrown about here and you assume I worship money, well you know nuttin about me clearly, money means nothing to me, as long as I have food, clothes and my health I am happy so shame on you for having such a foul mouth, the mouth of a PIG

  • No excuse you, nobody is stopping you from practicing your faith! I am asking a civil question about something that I want to know more about, so stop getting on your high horse and answer the questions you miserable specimen. I have a right to believe that there is NO god too, so I am mearly asking some questions about your beliefs, honest, some people get so defensive and defensive people usually have something to hide

  • Why do jewish guys rock back and forth at the drop of a hat? Why would you all wanna dress the same? Why would you wanna have your life dictated to by religion 24/7, there is no God! Why is there never any women around these guys? Can anybody tell me?

  • first of all excuse you, let us practise our faith freely.

dedicated to religion 24/7? religious jews pray 3 times a day all together for about 1.5 hours all together.

you have already tried to assimilate us with your atheistic beliefs in the story of hanukah, of course you being the greeks and instead of many g-d's you worship money and darwinism. we have, do, and will always keep our faith. our faith does not proslytize so you have no excuses to have any animosoty towards jews.

  • R.moshe- trayed to show in the dance that he's the most important person in the collective, but this isn't true! he's one of thousand people in meron, he's son has opereshnish...mazal tov!

  • THis guy is such a Zadik (amazing person)

  • Hey thanks for the video, but i am really confused about the first bit and the last bit =). what was the event they were dancing for at? was it just for fun or was it a ritual of some sort, and what was it at the end? I saw some guys shaking their heads near a wall. Was that the wailing wall?

  • it's a holiday

  • why do u cut the hair in the first place?

  • Why are men the only ones to pray publicly like that? Why don't women do it too?

  • no one is praying. they are dancing. the women are dancing together.

  • because Jewish women are modest.

  • I thank you for this Jewish video ...its great to see something like this ... thank you ,TODA RABA !
