lol, this was my class! The black dude you see marshaling was my partner all through training.. what a goof ball. And I cant stop laughing at the "incredibles" comment, we called CJ Iceman.. thats just funny
@AnthonyArroyoFilms Yes, sometimes it depends on how long you orignally signed up for. Me, for example, I can cross-train 3 years in cause I signed up for 6.
My 1st training was at Whitita Falls AFB TX. it was in an old hangar at the farthest end of the base. There was no heat in the building, it was december. We just had an old floor of a c-130 to work on and the instructors were a lot older than these guys in the video. Of course this was 1990...
I myself am going into the airforce to be a loadmaster and all I know is I'm not gonna have anything better to do than study anyways so managing ur time should be easy
@concoon43 so they say the studying is hard..but he the student said it was 3 hours on the weekends and 4 hours on the weekdays? is it really that difficult?
@Burt521 They want you to study for 2 hours a day minimum during the week and 4 hours a day minimum on the weekends. In fundies, if you don't study you will fail. It's a lot of memory. If you apply yourself and manage your time you will be fine. I saw too many people who didn't manage their time right end up getting discharged because their lack of effort. If you want it, you'll be fine.
@concoon43 So, 7 months later, how is it? Fun job? Is this job for the more intelligent type of people, or are these the bottom of the foodchain? Do you get to fly a lot? Do you actually fly with the back down like in the video?

Basically a load master just whines and complains while the Aerial Porters do all the work, loading/unloading.
Thought I would sum it up for everybody :)
