the push to talk feature is better than cellphone even though you can do both with nextel phones, because they are together so nextel combined with sprint whicjh is cellphone they just put 2 in one features to talk.

How is the screen resolution? Is it heavy?

screen resolution is quite average... in fact pictures look nicer in the external screen due to the pixel density (it has the same resolution, yet 0.2 inches less. it is a bit heavy, but more like reassuringly heavy (it doesn't feel like it will break apart, it's not uncomfortable my any means.

1.-you can send music files via bluetooth from another phone 2.-buy a micro SD card and transfer music from your computer 3.-buy a USB cable and transer it from your computer =D

the easiest way to transfer video files you record is if you buy a Micro SD card (not that expensive) just open the lid of the back of your phone and you wil see a slot for the Micro SD card. and then just plug it to ur CP

I use a Blacberry for email/phone/text/messaging but as my personal gadget fun phone I have the i9. Extremely cool! I have DC chat buddies all over North America. The sound is very clear and loud. Moto by far makes the best speakerphone devices. No one else comes close. If you have a few friends or contacts who use the Nextel, Boost, or Telus Mike networks then you should give this serious consideration. Good phone and even better walkie talkie. Hello Moto!

I've owned this phone for about 4 months now. I love every part of it. Never given me any problems. The battery sucks but other then that speaker phone is amazing. Like example i had the phone on my lap with the speaker phone on driving and talking and not once did the person ask me to repeat wat i say. other phones ive owned can't beat what i owe now. Ive owned 5 diff nextel phones and this one is the best out of all.

Motorolla S9 and it works just perfect. But u can buy the headphones from sprint. Just go under accesories and ull see some sweet stuff.

Good review, very helpful. I hate how motorola sticks with their weird old style menus instead of just redoing their mobile OS. I am going to get one for my boost plan though. I need something better than my i290. It's such a POS!

Internet yes!! depending on your plan. It gets wat they call the blackberry internet. Mapquest..you dont need it. Phone has a built in GPS system program called Tele Nav. works very well. it even talks to you and ive you alerts. i get on AIM, MSN, check my email no problem. has a program for that 2. You can send pictures and videos just depends on the size for the video i believe. Connection it depends how well nextel is in your area really. ive never had any drop calls or any problems

Bought this phone yesterday.

Its great, easy to use interface (if you know motorola phones). IT does what its main purpose wants it to do. RADIO NEXTEL. Its not a normal phone, its a walkie talkie! Thats the whole purpose. Get used to it!

Battery life is bad... Buy the BX80 battery and battery door to solve that problem.

Its all good after that!

Keypad has a smooth etched feel, and the buttons are small raised cylinders. Not so much touch.

The Us is or was until recenlty mainly a CDMA driven market. People don't realize that this technology is very diffrent to develop for. Companies like Motorola and Nokia have a larger Market 85-90% of the rest of the world(GSM) and have to build specifically for US models. Cost wise its not effective enough to bring tons of phones here when CDMA is a dieing technology. In 5 years it will be a question if its even still here.

it does have a calculator you have to go to the menu and go to the folder GAMES and APPS and it should be on the second page. and no it does not come with a USB cable. but i went to radioshack and picked one up. Love this phone very much. Probably the best nextel ive owned!
