@bosbal We were just doing timed laps. The car was fine, but I was "all little shook up" (as elvis would have said) and glad to have to go in to check in with the officials as to why I was so dumb so that I could calm down a bit.. LOL!

One guy did hit the wall on that side earlier in the day, but not too badly and no injuries. he "quick fixed" the body damage - duct tape is a wonderful thing :-), and was running again later in the day.

Another guy totaled his on the wall on the other side. He was a bit bruised and shaken up, but was OK in a short time. He got another car and was back the next year running quite well.

I was still dumb enough to try to catch the guy in the yellow car, who is a far better driver than I am.

what do you think of the 342R I'm trying to decide. It's between that or thr 392 Stroker. For a BDR of course

I love it, but right now I am using 3.08 gears and need a bit more low end grrunt, so I may go to 3.91 over the winter.

Of course with the 3.08's, I get 20 mpg, so that may limit my driving on the street. :-(

It's always better to be lucky than just good. I was very lucky that day and not too good - a few others weren't so fortunate in turn one.
