I have this film. I got it on VHS from the late Don Dohler. I showed it once to the LA Star Trek club and they acted all bored (they had been spoiled on CGI). I sent some photos to a Star Trek fan on the web but all he did was make fun and mock the stills on his site. Therefore I have a private account that some solid sci-fi friends can watch it online, but I won't post it for the public.
@1966tvbatman I would love to see the Paragon's Paragon film! I made this faux trailer in the hopes that someone would emerge who actually has a copy of it. Would you send me a private message (clanclos@comcast.net) and tell me how to log in to your private site so I can watch it? PLEASE... This film is legendary, and yet has been seen by very few!
Hey that was way cool. I am surprised I never heard of this until now. By chance do you know Bjo Trimble? She played Ma Cant in Superbman: The Other Movie (see trailer on my channel), which I produced in the late 70s. Also, you might like to see Salvation for the Planet of the Apes, which I made around 1977 (Also, on my channel). Finally, I've just uploaded a new video - UFO SOS (shot last month at Vasquez Rocks) and I am producing a new video called UFO Bob, which will be up in late July.
@Atkin5000 I made this "trailer" using photos from Cinemagic Magazine. I was hoping it might inspire the creators of Paragon's Paragon to post the actual movie on YouTube. No such luck, as of yet. In the meantime, search for "Project Potemkin" and choose the first result of the search to watch my friend's Star Trek fan film ("The Old Guys"). Also, search for "Star Trek Arena Reimagined" to see my spoof of ARENA, filmed at Vasquez Rocks!

I read about this film a long time ago in Cinemagic magazine. I also have never actually seen it and wondered if it was ever completed.

I never realized before how much this incidental music resembles John Williams' "Jaws" in some parts!

Have you contacted anyone involved with the production?

Would be nice to see an actual live action trailer, or the actual film on Youtube. It's been 36 years. Lets see something! :)

I've read about this one too, and I'd love to see it. Considering the type of film equipment used, this project was really ambitious.
