  • I love this video! I want one so bad!!

  • Awwww! Soooo cuuute :]

  • @airkitty17 they can't fly, they glide

  • it's can fly????

  • Everyday animals are neglected because of our impulsive nature. All animals, even the smallest like fish or hamsters, can be put to a sad death because of neglect ion. If you are against neglecter's, like this post. Let's see how many people want to save our worlds pets!

  • You are truley awesome your little people/gliders are sooooo cute I watched the hole thing I'm getting one in about a month.

  • If you're thinking of getting a Sugar Glider, this site has all the information you need about making a responsible, informed purchase. NEVER purchase from an unlicenced seller- they can be plucked straight from the wild and shipped to you- this is NOT GOOD!

  • I don't know where to get these in bc. I may have to go to the usa to find an exotic pet breeder.

  • @swagsurferguy Turn on Annotations and read all about how to get them. You need to research for yourself is not my job to teach you unless you are going to pay me.

  • It should be said that, if not hand raised, these little guys can be VERY defensive and standoffish. Complete frightened animal syndrome w/ constant crabbing and aggressive biting (they can draw blood). And through the months long process it can seem like they hate you as they seem to take 1 step forward then two steps back. This is why we hear storys of nasty mean gliders, it's alot of work. BUT, if you keep takin em out, showing them no harm. They'll learn to trust U and its great.

  • @bliglum So true! Wicket bit me for weeks (I was lucky it didn't last longer), and I'd end up with little bloody spots all over my hands. I chose to grin and bear it, and now he's incredibly sweet.

  • why are these little things illegal in so many states when they are great animals

  • I love it

  • There is a plase in kocomo indianna called critter corner and you can get sugar gliders there

  • are they leagle inwashington? do i need a lincens? how many times a day do i need to feed them? what kind of things do i need to do to bond with them and pott train them? (i know they can)

  • @pewehot13 Do you think you can turn on Annotations for this video, then watch it again "reading the Annotations and learning about all the questions you just asked me? I have other videos too on here that have links in them. I took the time to put links in my video so that people like you who have an interest can learn about them. Before asking questions that make you appear not to have a clue about the animals you are asking about. Knowledge is power.

  • @rcems629 yes but you dident answer every thing

  • @pewehot13 You seem to be coming across to me as acting very impulsively here. I wish to encourage you to please do not impulsively seek out these animals they require special knowledge and care. I believe out of all fairness here to both you and these special little companions, that you should re-think your drive and desire, do some serious research here, because you are inquiring about an animal that will become totally dependent upon you for the next 10 to 15 years of your life.

  • @rcems629 Don't be so mean!

  • @senestertrinester You are right, I do get a little mean once in a while. I am sorry. I also get very frustrated with people making comments saying things like I know everything there is to know about Sugar Gliders I have researched them for Months, BUT! I have some questions......... Then asking questions that makes most Knowledgeable Glider Owners know that they didn't do enough research...........

Annotations are educational. I use them it is a feature everyone should use when watching

  • nice!!!

  • lol i have a friend who has one and whenever he lets someone else hold it it jumps from their hand to his shirt, goes up to his collar and scurries down into his shirt.

    can you say chick magnet?!

  • The music is sooo distracting when you are trying to read lol, muted straight away! Anyway, thanks for the info, really helpful.

  • Awwwwwwww glad to see this little cutie is being well looked after and happy

  • @JosieC84 thanks ;)

  • I had one and I really miss having a shugar glidder, I crie each time I see an image of a shugar glidder...

  • Well, one thing is for shure here its legal, but it should be elegal you know why? they are deadly alergic to everything here, and have to stay warm and cannot go in the cold! but here in canada, it gets cold, it rains, oh ya and it cannot go in wather, as I was saying here in canada they are allergic to almost everything, it gets cold I say that because I had one and it died from a cold! but the people told us that type of info! I also searched on the net!

  • OMG, I NEED ONE OF THESE!

  • this is fantastic. thank you so much for posting this informational video. we definitely need to know more before we buy merely on the grounds of visual appeal. you're doing your little fellas' conspecifics a huge favour!

  • Wow, these guys are gorgeous, there is no way I would have as much time for them as I would need right now, I have 2 jobs plus my dog and my pet rats... I would consider these guys when I retired and had the time to spend with them. This is a great video, full of useful info as well as great pics/ footage, thanks!!

  • animals do suffer if i hear a comment that says o there so cute then you get one a week or to later it dies then you fell bad - it makes me sick seeing animals suffering because of miss under stood owners - my point is animals have fellings so stop abuseing them .

  • Cute! Check out mine at Tinky and Spunky The Sugar Glider Couple

  • I love the end of your video. He climbed right up and went straight for your pocket. I had no idea these animals get so attached to thier owners. Its a really well made informative video.

  • Awesome vid, thanks for posting.

  • where do you recomend buying one like a site or something or pet stores that will sell them its legal in my area i just dont no where to get one

  • @oddsquadred Sometimes it pays to watch videos with ANNOTATIONS TURNED ON if you re-watch this video with ANNOTATIONS TURNED ON you will see the answers to a lot of your questions right there.

  • @oddsquadred Check your YouTube email here

  • how much time do u need to be with them playin?

  • @sarafantana Please people, read my comments before asking repetitive questions.

"I am Nocturnal just like my Sugar Gliders are. When I am awake they are with/on me. I take them everywhere with me. I personally feel that to maintain a strong bond with Sugar Gliders that you should spend 4 to 6 hours each and every single day/night with them. I personally spend a lot more time with them because I take them with me everywhere I go. Not everyone is able to take them everywhere they go.

  • i saw a guy in this vid in the garden with a sugar glider... are they seriously that connected to you that they wouldnt run away? if so that's realy an awsome thing.

  • @matthewmason18 I am the safest tree in their Forest ;)

  • @matthewmason18 If you liked that you you should see the one titled "Daily Adventures of Sutton and Suzie"

  • oooooooooooooooooooooh, that's so cute !!!

  • i am thinking about getting a sugar glider but i have a great dane and not sure how to feed or what to feed him or her. plz help

  • GOOGLE it RESEARCH it LEARN all about it and make an informed decision. I will not touch diet because it is such a can of worms. I will tell you for my lifestyle (Never leaving home without my Suggies with me) I feed the SunCoast Diet it is a proven one and is easy for me to feed on the road away from home.

  • @rcems629 whats the suncoast diet?

  • GOOGLE SUNCOAST SUGAR GLIDER DIET and you can read all about it.

  • Thanks for showing the video I have a female and shes not to loving... We got her a little later than we should have. I enjoy having her and taking care of her but, I can't get her to let me hold her no matter what I do.. I can hand feed her and pet her when she lets me. I have always wanted one and we got this one free and I don't want to lose her. We are talking about getting another one so she wont be lonely. Thanks again for the help! Starchild

  • I sent you an email via YouTube

  • wow can you help me, my sugar glider is a straight up dick. when i got it, it was you know alittle jumpy but i thought well hey it'll get used to the house and 4 months later its still a dick head, it runs away and it bites me profusley at random points in time even if im just sitting still, HELP!

  • I sent you an email via YouTube

  • do these interact well with ferrets?

  • um Sugar Gliders and OTHER PETS DO NOT MIX. In the wild, Sugar Gliders can kill things up to 7 times their own size. No matter what you should treat a Sugar Glider and other pets as if your kid was learning to shoot a loaded gun. Would you take your eyes off your kid then?

  • @rcems629 yes they do

  • thats awesome that you let him on trees, grass, everywhere where i would think they would ran away. ...i want my sugar glider to be like that. lol althought ive never tried it...kinda scared to loose him.

  • Great learning experience, but after the first min. or so, the music becomes quite tedious.

  • Went looking for a bird (had a big cage) tripped over these at Traders Villiage.

Yep there cute, sweet, lots of work.

They eat better than I do. Never had a Guava, Mango, Kiwi, ok so I know what a grape is just never paid much attention to them either.

Research, Research, any animal you bring home.

Love your video, looking forward to the care and feeding one.

  • They seem so sweet and cute but, if they are like our "wild" animals, they require a lot of care, attention, love, company and you need to know a lot to look after them in the right way.

We have leaned a lot from our animals but it's VERY hard work and you don't have time for anything else much!

  • i did so much research on em and and later went hmmm are they legal in california they gotta be...googled to and they are illegal z.z

  • It's so true. If i haven't seen my gizmo more than a day, I take her out and she won't get off me. I have to put her back in the cage if i have to run to the bathroom. If i try to set her down, she will keep jumping back on me over and over because she doesn't want me to go.

  • i really want one, but i am afraid that my cat will eat it.

  • trust me ur cat will be afraid of it. its like a dog and a cat combined... it barks at night to and it will pee on ur hand or so and not only that it will bite lol alot...

  • they don't bite if you bond with them. If you neglect them, they'll be scared of you and they might bite a lot. I have been bitten by my gliders twice in 2 years, and the circumstances were extreme and I don't blame them one bit.

  • ya man cats are bad for that. i wouldnt trust most dogs they might try to eat it as well

  • lol at the end she's like "Rawr I has you now"

  • Lol aww wow those are so cute =] My fav scene is the end when it's chasing you haha that was just too sweet.

    They adore you

  • also people please really research before you get gliders, this is coming from a person that has all kinds of critters, these guys are way diffrent, and honestly if you want I good glider you have to spend the time with it. I recieved mine from a lady who had her for 2 years, and shes a handful but getting better everyday, also i guess you could get away with one if you had no choice, BUT from what ive seen these guys NEED attention and a person cant give them enough two gliders is BEST

  • great video, you giving me high hopes when it comes to my glider I recieved her from a lady who is unable to to care of her now and shes doing better everyday alot less biting when she goes to bit i made hissing noise so she hasnt bite me in to days, shes very active now attached to me so much, cant wait to get another tag along, Im in northern ohio, if anyone has any recomendations on a breeder, would like a female or spayed male,

  • umm you dont spay males

  • if you have a male and a female will they avential have babys???

  • Most likely yes, unless your little boy is fixed?

  • i have two and i did not resherch about them i just got them oscar and dusty they are one year now but still cute my mom just broughtthemin at 1 am in the morning when comin back from craft show i noticed they have little black puples

  • you dont have to spend 4 to 6 hours a day with them cause i spend 1hour or30 min with my 10 gliders and they with not get from my site

  • I own 14 for quite some time now, Three Groups that mix and mingle when I let them other wise there off to there own cages at feeding time... I never take mine out in the day light, there eyes are way to sencitive... dusk and dawn only...

Great clip with good information and pics..

  • cool video. iv got 2 had them about 8months now..... wish they would have babies man.

  • uarent supposed to let them free

  • "and all they seem to want, is to return to you. Truly Unconditional Love. ;) "

  • does it look to you like he wants to be set free? Did you watch the entire video? Can you not see the "Truly Unconditional Love"? Do you get it now?

  • I got 2 fuzzbutz at home and they are like my best friendz

  • dude, get rid of the words on the screen.

  • Wow, this video touched me so much.

The past few months I have been doing a lot of research on suggies and if they are the right companion for me...

This video opened my eyes. These animals are amazing. It must be a great feeling to have them love you the way they do... to be able to let a sugar glider down on the ground outside and it follows you around and doesn't run away was amazing. I hope to one day share that love with two gliders of my own.

  • I'd love to have a cool pet like this but lack the time, environment and stable finances to own one.

It'd be nice to see some in a petting zoo or something.

  • After you spend the time to get a good bond going with them how many hours a day do you think they need your full attention and play?

  • My standard answer is 4 to 6 hours with THEM not ONE but THEM each and every single day. ;) You got the right idea by saying they and them.

  • hi i have just gotten two sugar gliders and bite my finger everytime i put my hand in there and its a damn hard bite. any pointers?

  • can you tell me some breeders in maryland?

  • Please turn on annotations watch the video again pause it and read and pay attention to it's instructions to learn how to find Sugar Gliders.

  • hey can you tell me where some breeders/orphanages are in the md area because i dont know my exotic pet breeder

  • Excellent videos.

  • are they llegal in the uk? if so can someone help me???

  • I don't know, I live in the USA and I wouldn't even begin to know where to go to research your own laws in your own Country.

  • Try searching locally for your LOCAL EXOTIC ANIMAL VETS they should know the laws where you live.

  • TheHuskyBeaver (1 year ago) Show Hide

Your not bonding with her correctly, number 1 your forcing her to do things that she isn't ready to do How would you like it if you were forced outta your cage every to interact with big scary humans.. I don't think you would

  • Uh ,douche bag it 's not illegal.. if it were illegal why do so many have a little thing called usda licence if it were illegal the breeders wouldn't be able to purchase them.... how about you lean youfacts before you start trying to teach others about gliders over here in the US

  • Sugar Gliders are not legal in ALL USA STATES. They are legal in MOST USA STATES but NOT ALL OF THEM. Some USA STATES have special permits you must purchase or licenses. However, our Federal Government requires a SPECIAL USDA LICENSE to sell Exotic Animals.

  • do sugar gliders bark a lot and what can you do to make them stop

  • Some do some don't. Try getting them out and playing with them when they are barking. If the barking will bother you or if you do not want to bond and play with them properly then don't get any.

  • They are precious! And you are right, people do buy things on impulse or spur of the moment. It doesn't surprise me at all that they would buy Sugar Gliders without thinking...mainly because they are adorable. I did some research on Sugar Gliders looking at documentaries and videos on youtube...I think that they are wonderful pets, but they are not for me. At least not right now...taking care of them seems time consuming and I already have 2 ferrets anyways. So maybe when I have more time...

  • i am wondering if a suggie is right for me. i have done plenty of research and space for a suggie, i have 2 dogs which are pretty tame and one bearded dragon. so he'd be pretty well taken care of. i plan on getting him from a breeder and keeping him on a good diet. but i have school from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. please give me any advice or comments. thanks guys

  • Hi, I think your doing a wonderful job with your gliders. They look healthy. Good job! I would love to have a few but simply don't have the time to care for them properly. Maybe in 20 years when I retire=) I have a few resources that may help the kids a little if they MUST have "one" *Sigh*. They should ask themselves where they're going to be in 5 years from now first lol..

May be outdated but hope it helps....

  • I'm doing a lot of research on these lil guys and I have A dog, he's a very good one and I wanted to know if you knew how I could get them to get used to each other well?

Also, You say you bring yours everywhere you go, I want to do that too, when I get my sugar baby/ babies what should I also bring with me other than the pouch? Sacks and such too? Also, do they ever urinate or poop on you? ;x

  • Who sings this song and what is the name of it? Thanks. Your suggies really love you. That's so awesome.

  • Audio Swap

  • Thanks for the info on the music.

  • do they eat their babys...

  • If something is wrong with them yes they will. In the wild a rotting corpse will attract predators to them. So they will eat their dead.

  • Having two sugar gliders is more ecnomical and easier on the pocket than having one, Im getting two myself and im gonna start a colony, I have been doing research on them every day and I continue and will continue even after I get my first pair next year, theese guys are precious they make me miss my pet squirrel rocky, please don't buy them on impulse or go to festival and by them places like that usually purchase them from mill breeders wich is sad and offten their abused

  • 1:19 -1:34 are entirely too precious!! I love the crossed legs "I'm on a talk show" look.

Not gonna lie as cute as they are the baby creeped me out a little. lol

  • ur suggies r all healthy n chubby...ur a fantastic owner : )

  • love ur vid i love suger gliders i had 2 for a very long long time but past away : (

  • how many gliders do you have

  • love the videos keep up the good love the glider thanks

  • i'm getting one ^ ^

  • rcems629 I commend you on your info that you give out. there are so many people who act like they know what they're doing but they don't. only thing i would change is telling ppl about how yours wont run away outside. you'd be surprised about the amount of ppl willing to risk their suggies lives over a stunt like that

  • I do not suggest that anyone take theirs outside like you see me doing with mine. I have a very special bond with mine and I do not leave my house with out them with me. They are constantly with me and seldom ever at one place while I am at another place.

I trust my bond that I have with mine which is the only reason why I feel comfortable taking them outside. I still scan the sky and all around when they are outside for predictors and hazards. Outside is a personal choice based on my bond.

  • my step sis and my step bro. has 2 sugar gliders named jake and lilly

  • i am getting one in about seven to eight weeks any ideas where i could get one close to candler northcarolina

  • What would happen if you went on vacation and you couldn't bring them? Would it be ok if someone else watched them?

  • it cool my sis is get one mabe :)

  • you are totally right through this video. i want one of these animals but i've done a lot of research first. i know what you have to do. i hate it when people just think it's cute or cool and don't actually take care of the animal the way it's supposed to be cared for

  • your sugar gliders are so cute!! pls take good care of them.. ;)

  • Do you have to have more than one?

  • Would you want be taken away from your parents to live with some non-human and be in a cage 10 to 15 years of your lifetime and never see another Human again? Sugar Gliders are very social animals and can live in colonies of up to 40 Sugar Gliders. Want to know why mine are so friendly? It's because I have two of them and I do not leave them at home in a cage hardly ever. They go everywhere with me.

  • About 95 percent of the good Sugar Glider websites on the internet will tell you it is best to have at the least two. They do not do well as single animals. Unless you can spend more time with them then they do in their cage I would suggest at the least having two. Please use GOOGLE search for SUGAR GLIDER and learn all you can about them FIRST!!!. They are not the pet for everyone and definitely not the pet for people too lazy to research or people who IMPULSE BUY ANIMALS.

  • if they are born in captivity then they dont know height so it really doesnt mess with them my gliders have there own room it has lots of stuff for them to climb on and play with they even have a fake tree thats about 5 ft tall they are so spoiled and there 6 of them i dont like u should lock them up in these little bird cages all there life let them fly

  • It seems almost a bit savage, they crave height, and being low to the ground seems to mess with their balance. I could be wrong, but they need the rain forest canopy, not cages. They might make wonderful pets, but I don't think it's healthy for them to be low to the ground.

    -The missus.

  • Lifespan 5 to 7 years in the rain forest. Lifespan 10 to 15 years (if cared for properly) in captivity. How long would you want to live? The point of this video was to show the bond that I have with mine. He could have run up a tree and he didn't he could have run away from me and he chased me. He could have climbed up the side of the house and again, he didn't. Think what you like but mine was born here in South Carolina and not some Rain Forest. He is on me more then in his cage.

  • I wish all Sugar Glider folks could say the same. But it is sad that there are lots of them out here that spend more time locked up then with their human. Sugar Gliders are extremely social animals and they need and crave lots of attention / socialization. I take mine with me every where I go. Not many people can or are able to do that. You are entitled to your opinion. I think you should learn all the facts first though. Then you can form a much better opinion.

  • sooooo cute ^.^ though i gotta ask.. what's the name of this song? i like it ^.^

  • Guns n roses (the group) and the song is November rain ....

  • my glider and my other glider wont let me take them out they kept hidding in coconut shell

  • hey i have a sugar glider HE ROCKS

  • where do you get sugar gliders

  • i have a sugar glider to. i got mine in texas at traders village

  • ya good thing they arent illegal where i live...except my parents wont let me have one! cus i have to many pets, they say. i can get one if i get rid of all 6 of my rats and i love them so...ill have to wait.

  • Personally I think you are not ready for O N E because if you do any kind of research about them then you will learn you should never have just O N E unless you have 16 hours a day you can spend with O N E so it doesn't become depressed quit eating and die on Y O U because you only chose to have just O N E. Nocturnal exotic animals are not for KIDS at all because most KIDS loose interest in them and the animal ends up suffering because of it. plus most kids are not Nocturnal stick with rodents.

  • well im different than other KIDS because i have had ALOT of pets in my life and i care for them, i have had all kinds of animals like hedgys, ferrets, fish, dogs, cats, rats, mice, birds and all sorts of reptiles and amphibians and even little hermit crabs. i was also axualy planning on getting 2-3 if i could have any more pets. so please just dont tell me how responsible i am.

  • i have a suger glider and im only nine

  • Great song, doesn't get old. Cute animal but they piss everywhere apparently.

  • lol flyin hamsters...but cuter

  • I have been researching them for a while now and I would really love to have one. They seem like very friendly creatures ^.^

The thing is, do you know if they are legal to keep as pets in BC Canada? I know there are breeders here but I can't seem to find if its legal.

  • I live in Columbia, South Carolina USA where would I need to go on line to find out the laws of BC Canada? What about calling your local Vet and asking them what the law is there? What about asking the breeders that you know of there in BC Canada? Wish I could answer your question, but you see, I do not live in Canada so, why would I know the answer to your question?

  • do you have a USDA license..? just asking

and how many sugar gliders do you have.?

and how much do you spend with them.?

where did you your sugar gliders for a breeder or some one who is selling them because of reasons..?

these are just some questions i just wanted to ask for fun :)

  • do you have a USDA license..?

No, it is not required to own them where I live

how many sugar gliders do you have.?

    2

how much do you spend with them.?

LOTS, 260 Gallon Reptarium is right beside my bed I AM NOCTURNAL, and when I go anywhere they go with me.

where did you your sugar gliders for a breeder or some one who is selling them because of reasons..?

Both of mine came from USDA LICENSED BREEDERS

  • hi, Im getting a sugar glider in a week but I go to south america very frequently. Is it ok to keep them in a traveler cage or a bonding/sleeping pouch on flights? the flight is about 3 hours long if your wondering.

  • Here is a question for you. What are the animal quarantine laws in South America? Also, what will Customs say to you when you try to return? Will US Customs allow you to return with "EXOTIC ANIMALS"? Your answer is if you bond with them properly they will be just fine on a 2, 4, 6, 8, hour long flight. Can you get them "cleared and authorized" by both Countries and the Airlines to fly to and from with you?

  • oh and where can i get 1

  • ya i have a lizard a ca nd a hamster.....my sister mom nd i r willing 2 do everything needed nd were in nj i looked it up nd it says unknown if they're legal but im sure they r cuz this guyn was selling them nd he said u can find them at your pet stores our cat is 10 years old nd when we put the hamster there they both just sit there nd my cat turns his head sniffs the hamster nd lays bak down lol

  • Sugar Gliders are "EXOTIC ANIMALS" and here in the US no one can sell a Sugar Glider without a USDA LICENSE. If you do sell a Sugar Glider here in the US without having your USDA LICENSE then you just broke the Federal Law. It is not worth the price you will have to pay if you get caught selling an EXOTIC ANIMAL without the proper license.

  • i gots a hedgehog not very social but there ok

  • if you spend alot of time bonding they get friendly i had one

  • i have sugar gliders too. I have two of them and was thinkin about doin a vid on them. Your's are cute. But, i was told not to let mine out cause they might run away. Be careful!

  • i have a 5 year old pet ball python and i love it too deat! but i really want a sugar glider too! but im afraid that if i get a sugar glider it might get eaten but im not giving away my snake but i really want one any advice?!?!?! lol

  • The first step would be for you to find out if they are legal to own as pets where you live. Then I would be contacting your local Exotic Animal Vet's and I would be asking them if they treat Sugar Gliders there and if they my have a client that they could pass off your information to so that you can meet someone local to where you live that have some. Then that person may be able to help you get a couple of Sugar Gliders of your very own.

  • The next thing I would do would be to get involved with some of the Online Sugar Glider Community websites and I would then look for folks there that are close to you that have Sugar Gliders. The thing to keep in mind is that they are scent bonding and they rely totally on YOU for their socialization, and companionship.

  • You think a dog is dependent upon us to take care of them well a Sugar Glider if treated and cared for properly needs much more of your personal attention and time. They are scent bonding and their bond can be so strong that they could die of depression if something happens to them and they have to go to a new home. Or if you simply do not spend enough socialization time with them daily.

  • In the wild they can live in huge colonies of up to 40 of them in the same tree together. Most Good Sugar Glider people will tell you it is best to have at the least 2 of them because most of us can not spend enough time with them daily to keep them happy and stimulated. They are nocturnal too so that is another consideration you must think about too. The Ball Python if it is about 6 times the weight or less of a Sugar Glider may just end up being a midnight snack for a Sugar Glider.

  • In the wild they are known for killing things up to 7 times their own size. Rodents, Birds and Lizards are also on the Sugar Glider's diet too. They can also Self Mutilate themselves too they point they "eat themselves dead". They do not handle stress well at all and can become depressed and they will stop eating and die on you. Sometimes some simply switch off their ability to produce their own heat and simply die from hypothermia. When I see anyone saying things like I want "ONE" or I want...

  • "A" Sugar Glider then that leads me to believe that person hasn't got a clue and may be acting on personal impulse. I think people need to stop being so impulsive in this world and take into consideration the animal's needs over their personal "wants" it should be what you can offer to the animal, instead of what the animal can offer you. I am speaking generally here and not pointing fingers or anything. Just stating my opinion is all. I hope my information I have provided you helps you in your-

  • decision as to weather or not Sugar Gliders are the right animal for you or not.

A ball python is a great pet for some people especially because of it's ease of caring for and it's feeding schedule and habits. They are far far far... less dependent upon you and your personal time and attention then Sugar Gliders are. As I type this to you I am at a friends house and my Sugar Gliders are right here beside me in their travel cage. I am not kidding when I tell you they need your personal time.

  • it IS better to have more than 1 glider, but they will not die of depression if they dont have a friend, they sleep during the day while u are gone, and when you get back, u play for a few hours with them, go to bed, and if u have toys in their cage they will be find for the night.

  • It is a fact that Sugar Gliders "HAVE BEEN KNOWN" to died from depression due to lack of companionship. They are very social animals. If you only have one then you need to spend lots of time with it. How would you feel if every day the only socialization you got was a few hours then back to your cage you go?

  • ok after reading everything should i buy more than one or not buy any at all lol

  • where do i get one lol i never sleep at night and i get lonley so um they would be the perfect pet for me :D

  • Any time I see someone say "where do i get one" it really ticks me off. The reason why is because it is telling me you have no clue about them and you should not even consider getting any until you have done lots of research ON YOUR OWEN FIRST. DO NOT ACT ON YOUR IMPULSE TAKE THE TIME TO LEARN ABOUT THE ANIMALS FIRST. It's because if people acting on impulse that lots of animals suffer horrible and tragic lives. THE ANIMALS SHOULD COME FIRST. Not it's so cute where can I get ONE!

  • u care very well for ur animals im inpressed many ppl get bored and just feed theirs to keep it alive i can tell u love it and care for it the way it runs back to u shows its loyalty for u

  • im so afraid to take mine outside has yours took off before

  • They will not go very far away from me. And they will explore things close by however, I keep a container of yogurt drops with me and can shake it and they will come either Gliding back to me or running depending on where they are when I call them back to me. I will never tell anyone it is ok to take theirs outside with them. It's a personal choice that I made based on my bond that I have with mine. You see I seldom ever leave my house without them on / with me. I take them every where I go.

  • People just say yeah right sure you do. But honestly, I do take them with me every where I go. If you watch all of my video's you will see that they go into restaurants with me, hospital emergency rooms, my own family Dr. Office, my Dentist office, they go on calls with me too. They stay in the car most of the time when I am on duty. Or at our sub-station. Every one who knows me in real life knows that 90% of the time when they see me that Sutton and Suzie are also with / on me as well.
