He comments like that because he is a boy who does magic in his room and has no knowledge or experience in front of live audiences. It's easier to see the negative. I like to think, if I don't like something, what would I do to improve it. Many non illusion people have no idea, no comprehension for what goes into presenting a successful illusion routine.

NOT all the illusions are invented by them but some are.

Every single magician in the world use ready made illusions which they buy, its just how it goes. But it does not make them better or worse even if the illusion is ready made the performance is what counts.
