guys, it is not the thunder clap animation. zeus is based on mountain king from original Warcraft 3, who had bash. when mk bashed, his ax would glow like that and come down. BUT HE IS NOT RECOMMENDING IT, IT IS JUST THAT THE ANIMATION LOOKS KOOL

Yes since basicly Zeus was a melee hero in the warcraft campaigns so having cleave would change his attack animation (like Axe and the blade masters)

For people who think this is a noob item, consider this.

Battlefury: +65 atk, 150% mana regen, 6 hp regen, cleaving attack. 4350G

Desolator: +60 atk, Corruption "ORB" -6 armor. 4400G

Battlefury is cheaper than deso, gives more pure dmg(not including the orb effect), frees up your orb, gives considerable mana and hp regen early game. Even disregarding the cleaving effect, it's a very good item which is why "KUROKY" got it on medusa.

Depends, because by mid-late game when heroes have 15-20 armor, -6 of that doesn't mean much, because armor has "diminishing returns" with + gains. Basically, why cops don't wear multiple bulletproof vests, and that 2 vests aren't 2 times better than 1.

Also, desolator is mostly used with heroes that already have armor subtractions, such as Vengeful Spirit, Nevermore, and Slardar.
