Holy shit. I was so depressed about the future of the blues until I saw Doyle Bramhall II and Jimmy Bowskill. ! ! ! I really cannot believe my ears. Where is this kid's major record deal ? ? ?

I remember this night well. It was Jim's first time playing in a trio format and his first time bringing a girlfriend to one of his gigs. Kinda the first sign of him starting to grow up. Alec Fraser on Bass ( Jeff Healey ) who helped so much getting him started and Al Webster on Drums holding it down. Rik Emmett is standing to the right of the stage just out of sight and Danny Marks is on the left standing with me. I remember thinking man he's really playing out, I hope he knows what he's doing.
