How ironic, that in 1973, Eastwood would give Albert S. Ruddy the Oscar for Best Picture for the Godfather, and now the two of them receive another Best Picture Oscar together.
Probably one of the best unexpected moments in Oscar history. A well deserved win for a film which was probably the last film that was actually the best in their year... in my opinion.
