New Zeeland was discovered by the Dutch (1643) even as Australia (1606), Tasmanie (1610), Nova zembla (1595), Spitsbergen/Svalbard (1596) ,Jan Mayen (+/-1650(not precise)), And a lots of other islands in the pacific.

Cool you show a Dutch shop, the Niederländer are all over New-Zealand, and Germany and Netherlands are made out of the same Germanic tribes.

Btw. Dutch comes from "Diets", Diets is the folk-language of the Netherlands.

But what do we care, once the east-Dutch and North-Germans talked Low-Saxon, and Standard-German and Standard-Dutch are just the "official" languages that the government tries to force us to speak.

ich glaube der begriff dutch wird in manchen regionen anders übersetzt. dutch ist eigentlich abgeleitet von deutsch, da niederländisch und deutsch lange zeit als die selbe sprache anerkannt waren. aber was sagt denn frau missverstaendnis dazu?
