@Slammers722 There are certain parts in this anime that are inappropriate for children, (maybe not enough for children to comprehend) in the Encore series. It's more a tv show for those who like little girls, anything cute, slice of life style.

I have a question. If ichigo means strawberry, does that mean that Ichigo Kurosaki, in Bleach, is really named Strawberry Kurosaki?

@Netugi Here is something interesting to also consider. ichi is one in Japanese and go is five in Japanese, and Ichigo is 15 or was when the anime started.

@couchmiester ......... I'm gonna stick with the strawberry one on this. My question would be - why would his parents name him after the year where his life becomes greatly significant? Kinda hard to predict that kind of stuff. I think the strawberry thing is more likely.

@Netugi Me too. I saw another anime that has a main character named Yuzu, and the family that she is staying with has the surname of Katakura, the same as the name of the town Ichigo lives in.

@couchmiester well he says his name means number one guardian because ichi is number one and go is guardian, it mostly depends on how the kanji for the name is written but until he said this I thought his name meaning was the more popular one of strawberry.

the irony of this, he was making fun of a guy for having a name that meant flower. what a jerk.
