Honestly, I voted for Obama and I'd probably vote for him again. But deep down I'm pretty sure that NONE of these candidates give two shits about some gay soldiers being booed. Of course I appreciate Obama for saying what he did, but I also hope people realize that the only thing these politicians care about are votes and being liked by the public at-the-moment. The fact that the pipeline was for oil that was going to foreign countries and not to Americans after it was refined isn't relevant, most people think the pipeline would have been for gas for us - I think he spent some political capital not letting them fast track it, as environmentalists are only a small subset of voters.
