I like your ideas Dan. I am confident the technology you are proposing has been around for decades. However, politics are preventing the refinement necessary to achieve the results you propose. Thanks for the video.
We've supposedly been ~4 decades away from getting fusion energy for more than 4 decades now... and we're still supposedly ~4 decades away.
We've wasted billions on this thus far and come up with nothing.
Good luck with your own project, but this technology is a not going to be developed in our lifetime, and will likely not be affordable or desirable within the next century.
you have to understand that progress is not a fixed schedule. you can't just sit on your hands and wait 10 years and then this and this will have happened. it happens because someone actually makes it happen. similarly it doesn't happen when noone makes it happen. an example is hybrid electric cars which could have been done 100 years ago with great benefit. but it's only happening now. think about it.
DIY Fusion reactors?

you want to put mindless people that can barely operate their SUVs while texting, drinking and eating in charge of a nuclear device! LOL
good luck to you either way nuclear is the new power source I just wish these hippie tards could see it!

the proposed compact fusion devices, namely polywell and focus fusion are not cascade devices and cannot explode

@GlennDoty
focus fusion will likely prove viability ("unity") this year. Engineering/prototyping/licensing/deployment maybe another 4.
Wasting $0 of your money. 100% private. Yet you will benefit from it. That's grossly unfair.
