Trish was injured for 5 months of that year long title reign, but since Lita was injuired as well there was no one the could give the title to. Victoria had become a joke, so the weren't going to give her the title unfortunately.
@robertsnowden19 Victoria was also injured for 3 months during that time period, so when Trish was off for the five months in 05 the only face left on the roster was Christy with a bunch of models divas.

I think you forget that trish won her 6th title at new years revolution 2005 when she was still heel, before her injury in may she faced christy at WM, victoria a few times on raw, molly holly, and then she got injured, came back and defended it against heel victoria, melina at survivor series, mickie, and candice

i remember this i was cheerin for lita bc i was sick of mickie's overrated ass always winning and lita deserved more than just 4 titles and it would have been nice if lita betrayed edge and turned faaced so she could have a proper retirement
