  • YES, I AM GREEK PROUD , BECAUSE WE DONT HAD MONEY FOR OLYMPIC GAMES, WE PAID ALL THE POLITICS AND AGGELOPOULOU DASKALAKH, FOR THEIR OWN GOOD, WHEN OLYMPIC GAMES COME TO AN END, POLITICS TOOK ALL THE MONEY FROM OUR POCKETS TO PAY, THANK YOU MR SAMARANK

  • I hope Cape Town or Durban host 2020, they might need to win a few more medals in London than they did in Beijing to support their bid though!

  • En Chile, los Juegos Olímpicos de Atenas 2004, fueron transmitidos por La Red, TVN y Megavisión.

  • That was a fatal blow for Greece... hard to believe if you're not from Greece, but the Olympic Games was the greatest crime against the economy of this country

  • @SajukkTheEternal Since when do you anarchists give a shit about Greece?

  • @MAKEDANOS Since always. We live here. We just don't have a national conscience, but rather a class conscience. We care about the greek society, because we are part of it. We care about the greek economy, because we suffer the consequences of it. This is the reason the anarchists were raging against the olympic games back then, in the "golden age" of the "powerful greece".

  • @SajukkTheEternal Those words ring rather hollow when your stated objective is the very destruction of Greece.

  • @MAKEDANOS You have chaos in your mind. Take two hours to learn what anarchism is.

ONE of the stated objectives of anarchism (and not the only one) is not the destruction of greece, but rather the destruction of all states, and the ending of human exploitation.

I won't try to convince you. Something's telling me you don't want to be convinced. Good luck

  • @SajukkTheEternal I know what anarchism is, cheers. The fact that you seek the destruction of all states does not make your ideology any less objectionable. I love Greece, powerful or not, and nothing you say can ever convince me otherwise. We will fight you every step of the way.

  • @MAKEDANOS That won't be necessary. I also love the place I live in, and especially it's people. I also love it's mountains, rivers, seas, forests and animals. All I hate is shithead nationalist zombies, and fascist human haters. And that's probably our point of collision.

Good luck becoming human. I'm sure your gonna do it in the end

  • @SajukkTheEternal The idiotic belief that you have a monopoly on humanity is possibly the most annoying thing about wankers like you.

  • @SajukkTheEternal And, by the way, you are not part of Greek society. Given that you "don't have a national conscience [sic]", it is absurd to claim that you are part of *Greek* society. A parasitic nuisance to Greek society, perhaps, but certainly not a part of it. You have chosen to exclude yourselves.

  • @MAKEDANOS When 99% of the greeks were living their myth of their "powerful country", we were shouting "let the olympic games die in the country they were born". We knew back then, that it was only a chance for investors' profit, a capitalistic festival, a multi billion money party. We were some funny crazy guys, who spoiled the national party. We were "lunatics", "fanatics" who refused to take part.

Turned out we were right. The rest of the society was wrong. Where is the powerful greece now?

  • @SajukkTheEternal You didn't just want the Olympics to die. You want Greece to die. Fortunately, you will die first.

  • @dimitris12003

are you joking? is was oridnary and had poor crowds

  • The blonde interviewer/reporter is cute.

  • Part of our archives, include this video, as our company worked on the part of the bid process for the 2004 Olympics.

The dissppointment from the interviews, is because we were bidding for Cape Town to host the Olympics. Thus to not win is obviously a great disappointment.

  • o and whose the city disappointed with all of the interviews and etc?

  • cape town 2004 south africa

  • nice vid..how in the world did you get this
