At 9:30 when you kill the big yeti, I can tell you how it worked.
In any game-maker game, they use a "dead zone" which is an area slightly off screen where it doesn't process information (so it can handle big levels without slowdown). The big yeti was half-way off screen and your rock hit the yeti. The rock then got stuck in midair, hitting the yeti over and over and over (because it couldn't fall). Then you moved right and it went back to normal processing and the yeti exploded.
hey i got a question: where would be a great place to downlaod this game cos i have googled it and tried downloading but my pc is like "yo what kind of file is this?" and when i say i dont know they say "well you cant play!"
@CogDissident To be fair, that's only half of the explanation. Yeti Kings take multiple hits from thrown objects, dead zone or no. Try it, throw something through a Yeti King and listen to the sound effect. It's just one of the ways to kill one.
Shorcut guy doesn't appear untill after you reach the area transition for the first time. Every time you come across the area transition thereafter, he'll be waiting.

OH! That explains a lot. I was wondering why the yeti got hit like hundreds of times in a row xD;

just download the .zip file and unzip it through click, then right click

Damn, why didn't the shortcut guy not appear in my game? First time I ever make it to world 3 and no shortcut guy... And of course I died :D
This game continues to be awesome and watching you play it is uber awesome :)
