  • It's just amazes me how great of a game FF7 was. Nothing comes close in terms of story and music. It's amazing. Maybe poeple just put more effort into things before it became 100% about money. Maybe FF7 was created by God, becuase no man can possibly come up with such a masterpiece.

  • This so reminds me of Native Americans <3 <3 me LOVE.!!

  • "Nanaki is Nanaki"

  • @Helixthetiger You thought you were a smart-arse naming him Nanaki at the beginning too, only to realise you'd messed up all of Cosmo Canyon's dialogue... ahhh memories

  • @D4vy87 yeah ikr?

  • omfg i use to hum this all the time but had no where it was from, playing around on youtube, look at ff7 tunes, find this AND walla.

  • FF should go back to written dialogue.. It's not that the voice acting is painfully bad in FFXIII it's just painfully awkward writing! The things they say are OK when you read it, but when said outloud I find it simply emberassing listening to it.. That goes for basically anything that comes out of Japan when it's dubbed.

  • @ystein3000 i agree, their dailogues were so much better back then then it is now.

  • @ystein3000

Some games have good voice acting, like Metal Gear Solid, but I'd much rather just read dialogue for the FF games. I've never played FF10, but I've heard about the infamous laughing part.

  • I play this riff too often on guitar

  • cosmo canyon . . . epic

  • NANAKI!!!

Who else laughed at when they completed the game once, started a new game, renamed RED XIII Nanaki, and when the gang got to cosmo canyon, Cloud's like "The hell is Nanaki?"

  • @blazinblue777 I did something similar, by naming Cloud "Sephiroth". That makes a fun conversation with President Shinra:

    "What's your name?"

    "Sephiroth!"

"Forgive me for asking. I can't be expected to remember every soldier's name....Unless you become another Sephiroth..."

  • @blackwingangel04

Tifa:" Maybe you'll make the papers someday, and be like the Great Sephiroth"

Sephiroth (Cloud) : Ah, yes, the Great Sephiroth lmao

  • @blazinblue777 Tifa to her dead father: "Daddy! Sephiroth! Sephiroth did this to you, didn't he?"

Sephiroth (cloud): "...What did I do?"

  • canyon cosmo avec nanaki alias rouge 13

  • cosmo canyon <3

  • real definition of "geeked up." oh yeah

  • name whatever you want to what makes you feel what you should call him.

  • When i play FF7 and a fly comes and disturbes me.. I catch it and then i feed it to spider who lives in m basement(he's name is bruno.. and hes fucking huge!) and i start this song.. as a ritual

  • @Gracking666 Wrong way to use a peaceful song O_o

  • @Gracking666 what

  • hiz name should be the red dragon.. and he should violate women and children and stick mirror shards in their eyes

  • listen ifi get a high enough score on call of duty they will neutralize me in my living room

  • lol Crossfire990 brought me here

  • Except way more awesome!

  • This reminds me of Lone Pine Hill... Anyone else?

  • Should I name my dog Red 13? Or Nanaki?

  • @Neobahamut0zero Nanaki, because:

    1. Sounds moar badass

    2. Numbers sound gay in a name :P

  • @SuppaErinchan

    Cloud: "Who's Nanaki?"

"Nanaki is Nanaki, that's his name."

  • @EpicRAWRRR That too :D

  • One of my favorite songs of any Final Fantasy game.

  • The heart beat of the lifestream......how it brings me back to wonder years....

  • i Rain dance to this !

  • if i was ever native america. i want this to be my clan's theme music.

  • @MrKuger9 Totally. This song is amazing.

  • I should clarify what I mean. In simple terms sometimes the new ways to "experience" games and the flashiness that's implemented in games just gets in the way and is detrimental rather than a boon.

  • I believe developers nowadays should take a lesson from the video games of past; when music and written dialogue and imagination brought a game to life for the one playing, rather than voice acting, graphics, and characters closeups. The new features are wonderful, but many lack the same heart and - dare I say it - love that games of old were able to invoke. That or extreme frustration from their difficulty!

  • @taddlywaddly and so many people disagree because there judgement has been clouded by their love for Halo and CoD. I totally agree with you. Games used to be an art: great story and music and it wasnt necessary for great visuals. Nowadays there only concern is money and it is no longer primarily about keeping gamers happy but its about keeping themselves happy when they say a quarterly balance sheet *sigh*

  • @paulsky1 Sadly, I recognize this...

I love(d) 2 great series that have gone down because the creators have thought more about the money than those who actually buy it: Final Fantasy and Pokemon.

FF pretty much went down after VII, though X gave a little spark back, and I haven't tried XIII yet, so I don't know, but neither VIII, IX, XI or XII gave me the same feeling as those 2 did.

And Pokemon.... well, the 4th and 5th Generation says pretty much.

  • @Nightstrife93 I agree the pokemon series has gone I remember how gd the original was, they even tried bringing pokemon back and look how that went lol. Atleast the music is still worth listening to in concert =D.

As for the series going down hill after FF7 I agree. But I do think FF8 was till playable , the same for FFX however FF9 I havent tried yet and FFX-2, FF12 and FF13 were bad in my opinion and I just cant finish them. FF13 especailly it was TOO LINEAR nuff said rly!!! XD

  • @paulsky1 I've been playing IX a couple of hours. To be honest, it's not that good. Still haven't got a single XP or real battle... The whole thing is just a act so far :|

Sure, Zidane is cool enough, but the game is more like... meh..... FF8 are cool though. Bought it on my PS3 just after Xmas, and gotten a long way :) Much more action

  • @Nightstrife93 Is this your first time playing FF9? I found it gets better later on, plus there is a minigame where you hunt for treasures on the world map with a Chocobo which I found to be a lot of fun.

  • @Standuble Yeah, it's my first time. I'm planning on playing more, so I guess I'll get to that part sometime ^^

  • @Nightstrife93 I was planning to finish 8 myself before starting on 9 but from what I can tell from playing FF13 I will probably enjoy it more than I enjoyed 13 cos of FF13's aforementioned liearity problem. However I still like 7 the most and I hope that never changes, What I do hope changes though, is the direction square- enix seems to be taking FF down :(

  • @paulsky1 Dude youve gotta hit IX its epic....not as good as 7 but still epic

  • @RaggyMan88 THou shalt do so X'D but not yet ^^

  • 1:35 = Goosebumps.

  • Right now I'm trying to learn how to play this on my flute

  • I love this soundtrack so much. Nobuo Uematsu is the reason I started writing music, I heard his music 14 years ago and haven't stopped writing since.

  • @RichardBatchelor86 He's a boss, but you don't need to post it on every video.

  • @RichardBatchelor86 ur a fag.

  • Seto, you were a true warrior. May we follow your mighty example. That is all....

  • This is my shit

  • trying to make this in little big planet 2 HARD nuff said

  • Sorry last one at 1:02 to 1:42 it is powerful I love that part and the ending.Lol

  • actually this made me cry to when I was little this song always got to me seeing how he realized that his father didnt leave him and when that tear came down dudes eye thats when the tear came down mines.lol

  • HAHA I havent played this game since 1997 that was a good year for me 7 years old and kickin ass in this game.LOL but man I still had this song stuck in my head and remembered it exactly like it is now. (NANAKI FTW)

  • My game dies on the bit with Bugenhagen telling you about the lifestream :'(

  • @FinalFantasyLov3r124 Wow dude. I am so fucking sorry that had to happen to you.

  • @FinalFantasyLov3r124 get the PC version... Its on steam so is VIII

  • @CharlieChinchillaTV I'd rather like to get it on the original console. My laptop isn't good with playing games off steam

  • @FinalFantasyLov3r124 same here

  • Música para la gente obrera!

  • I always imagine an indian dancing around a fire to this song.

  • @AnotherMe21 Same here :)

  • Bugenhagen was so cool!!! I loved Cosmo Canyon. I would just go there and put down my controller just to listen to the music.

  • thanks to the unreliable buggy, i get to feel this epicness. :)

  • i love this song:)

  • this song always made feel...strange.it keeps you going, it makes you want to

  • This always reminds me of the story of Nanaki and his father, Seto. So fricken sad! I loved FF7 for all its awesome sidequests and stuff. You really connected to the characters. Pity the new Final fantasy games aren't like that.

  • Cosmo canyon. It's so peaceful yet it's got a strange... presence to it. I always liked to hear it, made me feel calm but focused

  • @charizardcowman yeah... like it a weird energy that make you keep up going

  • Bugenhargen FTW!

  • it always makes me feel"ok now we will rest...we will take a break before countinue the adventure"

  • One of the best town themes of the FF Series ever.

  • this song makes you feel like a proud warrior.

  • I love this song, before I go fight sephiroth I buy oodles of hp pls and load my 3 party members with it to maximize there hp even if they have magic equipped

  • @princedarienlover Duuuude Highfive for doing the exact thing! :D I barely even use magic so everyone is just jacked up on HP plus' I love having 9999hp at level 50 :D

  • @animegirl2754 me too, hp 11246 at lvl 63 :D

  • @OryethOmnipotence D: ? But the limit is 9999

  • @animegirl2754 i use the 9999 limit break patch :D

  • @OryethOmnipotence ohhh. Never heard of that. Sounds pretty cool :D

  • @animegirl2754 yeah, it removes the 9999 damage and HP limit :D when I used Omnislash on Emerald weapon I was like "HOLY SHIT !" ^w^

  • @OryethOmnipotence HP limit patch you mean this game was on the Comp

  • @ultris07 yeah the patches were for the PC version only.

  • 2 people didn't find the X-Potion.

  • Cloud183 you the bomb man, love your work. :-)

  • This song is always in my head...I've got to learn this on whistle.

  • legendary

my memories with this track when red discovers his father fell in combat with the arrows in his back and the teardrops

    absolutely legendary

  • @11Quetzal11 yeah it was "legendary"

  • when i hear this song it reminds me of seto...

  • This Final Fantasy 7 Song Is The Song Ever created In any final fantasy ever !!

    AHH DAMN <3

  • Remember going to cosmo canyon just to hear this music:)

  • @Kjelleblaze I did :)

  • @Kjelleblaze hihihiihhiihihihihi yes it did ;)

  • @Kjelleblaze haha before we had youtube thats what we did i guess!

  • @Kjelleblaze i did the same ... =D

  • @Kjelleblaze So true. You own!

  • ff7 was probably the only game that symbolized the Native Americans as a unique race - wise and intelligent with red fur, tribal markings and a blazing tail of fire. games just don't do that anymore.

  • if there was a native american clan tat played this song, i wanna join tat clan and play and keep playing this song!

  • Native Americana or Aborigional Americana.

  • A remake of this game would completly ruin this game, its a master piece as it is, just the let the game rest in piece as the best game ever made.

  • @BagiClaymations

I agree, the game was a masterpiece in every sense of the word, no remake needed.

  • Aeris lives with Gi Nattak

    :D

  • i think FFVII remake comes in 2013 'caus...can't explain :P

  • Latin America Win

  • That place reminded me of Arizona or New Mexico XD

  • You like this video. Thanks for the feedback! See more videos you liked.

  • Beautiful.

  • "Wooo, Cosmo Canyon I always wanted to come here."! makes me wanna study planet life and have a drink by teh Cosmo Candle

  • Native Americans came to mind.

  • thanks alot for uploading!!!

  • deceptive titles these are.

  • the tone is anoying :P play this on a guitar or bass it makes it sound a lot better ^^ but the song is genious

  • C:< EPIC!!!!!!!

seriously. the story of how Red XIII thought his father was a coward and left him and his mother for dead, but then he finds out what really happened....

SO EPIC. that scene brought me to tears the first time i saw it. and occasionally it still does.

:C epic stuff makes me cry LOL.

  • @MetroidMilkMan i like you

  • his is a great song

  • I love the pride in this song.

  • The boss here is the most stupid boss in the game.

It's so hard normally, but you can win it on turn 1 no matter what... I hate bosses like that.

  • It's simple. If any of your characters need to use some Break Limits, give them Cover Materia, and have them fight this thing alone, the others just keeping them alive. I got Aeris's Level 2 Part 2 overdrive in one fight doing that - using Cloud and Nanaki as healers. It was just

    Aeris - Ice

    Cloud - Potion

    Red XIII - Potion

    Gi Dude - ATTACK!!!!

Aeris - Breath of the Earth

    Cloud - Potion

    Red XIII - Potion.

    Wash, rinse, and repeat. A 60% Cover helped a hell of a lot, too . . .

  • Nanaki your father is courage and valor

  • i love this game, this history and this very good music

    simple, the best

  • Its amazing how uematsu catches the atmosphere of each "level" with his music.

even without having played the game, the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear this is: "ancient tribe from a land far beyond"

  • Uematsu, is without a doubt one of the best composers in the world. Shame that he's got nothing to do with FF XIII. The songs I've heard so far from XIII have been nothing compared to the quality of Uematsu.

  • So nostalgic...

  • man, this really wakes up that part of your spirit, doesn't it? The part that really likes the tribal kinda stuff. I wanna go camping out in some canyons...

  • nanaki returns to cosmo canyon...

  • I have a craving for cinnomin buns wenever i hear this song because thats what i was eating when i first heard this song. Anyone else with this same weird craving thing?

  • Yeah, I get it with scents of video games, there is this incence that my mom burned for like 3 months straight once, so now whenever I smell it I think of FF10 and Kingdom Hearts 2

  • yes for me idk y but whenever someone is cooking ham and cheese omelettes i want to play the gameboy pokemon games. lol

  • Yes! easy cheese and crackers... same with final fantasy tactics ha!

  • I think we can see a Final Fantasy VII remake in 2017 o.o

    2007 = FFVII 10 year anniversary = FFVII:AC

Years following: Lots of VII games.

    2017 = FFVII 20 year anniversary! :D

    Just an assumption :3

  • @shurrayy

FFVII remake sooner please! they already teased us with the ps3 ff7 intro. You already know they're definately going to remake it though.. I mean they're already up to 4!

  • @Shurryy 7 years?? noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Shurryy i sure hope not.... MAKE IT EALIER! xD

  • This is played when you visit Cosmo Canyon, Red XIII 's homeland

  • @microblan na, this is just like Cosmo Canyon. this is played when you see Nanaki's father. please coreect me if im wrong, different names, so.

  • Probably my favorite music from any video game. Absolutely love it

  • what has been heard cannot be unheard. probably catchiest piece in all the nintendo ive heard

  • couldn't have said it better myself.. but i'm curious.. Nintendo :S?

  • "What you will eventually see will become a part of life's dream" -- bugenhagen

  • The part where bugenhagen shows you the holographic planet system part was probably one of the coolest parts. The cave of the GI wasn't all pleasure... But I gotta agree that this song would be over the edge living under the desert stars forever, definitely goes with that area.

  • @Masamuneblade7 cave of gi's boss was the easiest in the game. honestly. use elixer on him, or x potion, and he literally just dies. undead people die when you... make them alive, but they die.. when you make them more dead.. so, why does?? freaking hurts my head!

  • Comment removed

  • *gets a migraine*

  • @captaintylersparrow That wasn't my point. Did you "Enjoy" the cave of the GI?

  • @Masamuneblade7 no. hated it all. boos first time killed me. i didnt know it was undead.

  • @captaintylersparrow

Why bother using Elixir or X-Potion on him, when Phoenix Down does the same? ...

  • @captaintylersparrow why waste an elixir or an x-potion, phoenix downs are cheap

I never use that method, I like fighting

  • @verd12w yeah well, when you lose 5 consecutive times, and do the dungeon for the 6th time, after finding out that method, ya REALLY feel like an idiot and use it.

  • terrrible!! j ai presqu envie de chialer...lol Bref ff7 est un grand classique tant par sa bande-son que par son histoire et son gameplay...GG l équipe squaresoft

  • Yay nanaki!!

  • lol kewl cosmo canyon :D :D

  • This is like Indian music to me, Cause i am a native in real life.

  • It is inspired by Native American percussive themes, but I do not know where the wind instrument inspiration came from.

  • I do not know, but the music brings back old time memories to those that is native to the american states.

  • if you put an "s" in Valley of the Fallen Star is my birth home :3 and nice music

  • Best song of Final Fantasy VII, its so mellow

  • It is probably the best track in the game, though there are many this good.

  • This is where I TRULY got addicted to this game. Sure, everything else up to this part was memorable, but once I beat this game and give it back to my friend (Who I borrowed it from), this memory will always stick with me.

  • This is my fav in all FF music!

  • Very nice song ;) one of my favorites in Final Fantasy games... :P

    Thx...

  • It's no wonder, VII had best storyline, best chars, best music, of ALL FF games.

  • true... it's so good that:

    1. there came a sequal FF7 A
