I never cry but this video had me in tears. My own father died this year from a stage IV stomach cancer and I can feel your pain, your father was a wonderful person and a great father, just like mine, cancer is so cruel and unkind, nobody should suffer like this. :`(

So very sorry for your loss. My Dad just died a few weeks ago from lung cancer. He was only 60. We only found out a little over 3 weeks before his death that he had cancer. He looked to be the picture of health. It spread through his body though and when it got to his brain it was what took him. :(

god blessed us all, but mother lost the battle she was 77 . she died on night of my prom and i was happy for her . i miss her so much..i was only 18 yrs old and grad high school too

she give a brave fight for me (am a adopted and my brother and wife take me after her death.)

now am 21 it still hurt even it has been 4 yrs

I'm sorry this happened to your father. My younger brother (he's now 18) battled Ewing's Sarcoma cancer for a year and thankfully it's gone now. I know how hard it is to watch someone go through the treatment. My brother did lose about 20 pounds during the whole ordeal but your father looks like he lost much more than that.

I'm sorry your father died. But, you can rest assured that your father is in Heaven with God, cancer free forever, and that you'll see him again one day. God bless! :)

I just want to say this video has me in tears... he reminds me so very much of my Dad whom I lost 2 years ago to Cancer- His Name was Edmund, however we was known as "Ed" and he loved to fish! Wow this video brought back some memories, May God Bless you!

I already know what lung cancer looks on the outside because my-brother-in-law has terminal lung cancer. He had it for the past seven years, now it is a matter of time because he suffering from congestive heart failure now. IT IS NOW EASY WATCHING SOMEONE YOU LOVE DYING IN FRONT OF YOU. Thank you for your kind words. My father was a very caring man- he would give a complete stranger the shirt off his back. When my father was younger and in a store if he was behind an elderly person he would pay for their food, my dad was a very good sole. I love and miss him a lot, 15 years ago I lost my mom then my 2 brothers 2 grandma's and 1 grandpa within 18 month time period. I pray they are all to gether in Heaven now.

well today is my dads brithday he was bord 9-8-41 my dad got lung cancer in aug of 07 he died 1-26-08 i miss my dad alot now no wi fine my self still going to see him at the grave site every day to talk to him.i realy miss him we fish togather and all when u see me u seen my dad that how we are . now hes gone and he waits me now. so we can fish with jesus together. i still cry alot for him. i am a old man my self.but the pain is stil there . the way this cancer eat him up.

Absolutely wonderful tribute to your father. My mother was diagnosed with lung cancer in July of 2006, stage 3. She was a 52 year old otherwise healthy nurse. She passed away in her home with all of us @ her side on March 31,2008. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I do know how hard it is, I know there is no pain or sadness in heaven, I think that is what comforts me the most. I never knew what having your heart broken truly meant until I lost my mom.

This was extremely moving. I can't thank you enough for making this. My Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer early November '06 and passed away Jan. 20th 07. The extremity of how fast the disease took over his body was humbling to say the least. It kills me to see others still smoking knowing the effects of smoking. I still wish that I could of documented my dad's decent from lung cancer so I could of spread the knowledge... but I thank you for having the courage to do so.
