Ummm, y'all might want to check with David Wolfe the cacao expert, pronounced KA COW, not ko ko! lol he wrote the book, Naked Chocolate and is responsible for making raw cacao the superfood it has become! You could have browning leaves because they aren't being shaded from direct sun, like in their natural habitat. just sayin'
Growing from seed is easy, but keeping them healthy is another story. I've read not to put them in full sun, they grow under the canopy in the rain forests protected from the wind and harsh sun from other plants. I've found that Neptunes Harvest Fish Fertalizer works awesome. Careful with the type of water too, these are very picky plants. Also stay away from miracle grow. I have 2 that look healthier then the ones in this video growing indoors in Michigan.
I have an army of cacao plants growing from seed indooors....over 50 I think. They sprout extremely easily and are fun to grow. I definitely suggest trying it. No special skill required. :)
@Praxxus55712 i just watched your video! im starting to look in to it now, i saw the website you got. and i was wondering, what type did you get? because the one type is sold out :(
