I saw Sabbath twice on this tour and they were 10 times better than I thought they were. We didn't even know if they were gonna play Ozzy Sabbath stuff. and Ozzy 5 times on his first tour. The first show I saw the place was half filled. Everyone was saying the same thing 'can you believe that guitar player!!!' Saw him in Springfield, ma, New Haven, Hartford...
What's Black Sabbath's future ??? 1) Stop playin' music 2) Re-unite with Ozzy 3) Re-unite with Tony Martin (or Glenn Hughes , or that excellent Danish or Sweedish singer, Jorn) 4) Find another singer. If I were Tony Iommi or Geezer Butler, I would be very embarassed to make a decision.
@Sabbathfan75 Good to hear this track. I heard it on KBFH and recorded it ...and eventually found it on vinyl, one of the actual LPs that had been sent to a radio station for broadcast. The entire concert is now up on the KBFH website.
@Sabbathfan75 Yes !! Its great to hear this track from that show. I recorded it and wore the tape out ..its was so awesome. I finally found it on vinyl ...an actually copy that had been at one of the radio stations that played it !! I still have it. Also....KBFH has a website ...and this entire concert is up and you can hear the whole thing !! Check it out !!

You read my mind... I was gonna say the exact same thing. The Flower hour and Dr. Demento were my faves lol. Ahhh... the goodole days of real FM radio.
Haha...cool! I used to do the same. Actually a good FM stereo feed into a decent cassette deck worked pretty good! Boy! those were the days eh? :-) Stay cool!
@tbythelake I bet Randy was amazing!

Yeppers! I recorded that concert from the radio with my nakamichi and wore that tape out daily. I thought I was such a cool rocker.

I remember trading cassette tapes in junior high back in the early 80s. Good times.
