It is unimaginable that the Jewish people, after having suffered themselves through so much, would act in such a lawless way and justify it trough religion. This kind of shameless behavior has turn world opinion against Israel and breeds antisemitism. People see this and immediately become outraged. How can such smart people engage in such self-destructive behavior. The world is slowly isolating Israel and no country can flourish without international support.

By international law the settlements are illegal which is why now and then Israel tries to placate the international community by tearing small portions of them down, even while its building new ones elsewhere.
