Thats cool when holding him halfway, but ya run into problems when if request that overhead thing. If someone gets dropped or hurt and then you inadvertently make a great day suck from hurting someone. You only asked them but its not some regular event its a wedding and if problems happened from that who would be to blame.
I learned that when I had 3 girls sit on a railing and it was fine till a chick started bouncing and it broke and they all fell. The bride looked at me like WTF lol
