I actually found it funny. All of the Greater Fiends took me at least five tries to beat on my first playthrough, but I beat the ARCHfiend on my first try.

I can't understand why Tecmo makes the final boss an easy target. Every time it dashes in towards you, it just stands there walking in one direction. A perfect target for my flail.

Dunno. I also like the TDS & Falcon's Talons/Claws. Some weapons just feel too cheap though...I would like to learn/master the Dual Katana's though. Seen some Master Players using them and I'm very much in awe.

good move, you didnt rely on the glitch that the boss will keep trying to catch you.

But, there is an easier way to beat this motherfxxcker. Go stand in front of his chest and use phoenix ninpo. He will die automatically, lol.

I actually picked up on that when I was making this video (the grab glitch thing), I was tempted but...

Was doing great until he got all noobish on me and wouldn't stop walking into the wall. Still wasn't too bad. Thx for the compliment.

there is an easier way to beat this boss. all you have to do basically is immediately go stand by his chest as soon as the fight starts, He''ll keep throwing you over and over, just dodge his throw and hit him after wards. His throw is very easy to dodge, and you will have plenty of time to hit him with whatever combo you want..

so the only improvement is when the boss smash the ground, there are fire pits, any thing else that's changed about arch fiend?

I mean right now you can do 2 [][]^ combos on his laser beams, and his waking on stage doesn't even hurt you anymore, which allows you to spam attacks nonstop.

he is still the easiest boss apparently.

aye, the fire pits kinda made this fight a tad differrent from NG2. But, as with all the bosses in NGS2....for the added damage they remove a ton of the bosses skill and abiilty. IE: Moves you had to dodge before, don't even hurt...or you can easily dodge them now. I found NG2 to be a much tighter play (in gameplay), the main boards are also way harder. If I could meld the two, take the female's boards and move the one hit kills from some of the bosses to NG2, that would be the perfect game.
