Without Next, Apple would never have rehired Jobs and then gone on to become as successful as they are now. Nor would we of had Pixar to create some of the best animated films of all time. So again, He may not have been the inovator, like Segall or Wozniak. But he did, nonetheless, help get apple to where it is now.

You know, his death kind of sheds some light on the reason WHY he was so actively anti-charity and was against personal freedoms and all that. The conclusion I see is that Steve Jobs was a bitter asshole: once he knew he was dying he wanted to make this world less pleasant for those continuing to live after he was gone. There's no other explanation. He didn't even give money to cancer research which would at least be desperate self-interested philanthropy, he just resigned himself to grinchhood.

I also think that this video is only more apt now that he is dead because it underlines how when someone dies all of a sudden everyone loves them, there’s no reason why just because someone famous dies that everyone has to now love them and no one can say a bad word about them.
