  • mpemba !!!!!!

  • Wimps! How about -80c with 300km/hr wind! Come to Antartica for the winter!!

  • In Canadia...

  • trust me, i live in alaska, that CAN NOT happen,, we have tried it at -50 before--it just hits the ground like it would when its warm out--its liquid nitrogen

  • @jeffro99518 it does work we learned about it in ap chem When you throw the water, it all spreads out and instantly evaporates the area of high moisture and the cold air make it turn to snow very quick

  • How does the water not turn to ice before he throws it?

  • @BlackVirusxz

Because when he throws it, the water is dispersed into the air giving it more surface area, this makes it cool down MUCH faster.

  • @XTaintedOneX Oh right, awesome

  • He sounds like Everyone loves raymond.

  • You sir are a fat, bearded loser

  • Stupid! that was liquid nitrogen

  • lol LOST SMOKE MONSTER!

  • how cold was it

  • yeah it looks cool and all but that shit only works with hot water thrown into cold air.. try water thats room temperature or even cold water..

  • do any of u think this could be an idea for mythbusters?

  • nah, its a very well known and rather simple phenomenon, at least here in the arctic.

  • Send It to MythBusters!!!

  • @Ninja6317 no

  • @Allen913369 dude it's not liquid nitrogen! if it was liquid nitrogen he would have frozen hands cuz the cup thingy is made of iron and there would be a hell of alot of more smoke/steam

  • I'm moving to Fairbanks in a few months and I'm embarrassed to say that is probably one of the first things I'll do, haha.

  • i got one thing to say DRY ICE !!!!!!!!!

  • @perconcake dry ice is a solid. dipshit.

  • that's fuckin awesome!!!!

  • this because the water in the cup is very hot and it is evaporating instantly in the freezing air...the water is transformed in fog...

  • its not evaporating, its freezing -40 and evaporate dont sound right together

  • well..not evaporating but vaporizing...you throw a cup of boiling water to very cold air and it is instant vaporizing into thin mist and very small ice particles. Try same experiment with regular cold tap water and you will have just water throw into air that is freezing after many seconds even - 40. On a different scale it is same when it is getting sudden very cold and warmer lakes or rivers are making thick fogs.

  • I wouldn't say mist because that makes it sound like it is in a liquid form. Vaporizing means being suspended in the air either in solid or liquid form. You are correct, but your wording makes it sound contradictory (mist and ice particles.) Where mist is normally used to describe a liquid.

  • whoa! but if it's so cold how come the water didn't freeze inside the cup?

  • I'm not sure this is just a guess.

Maybee because when he throws the water it spreads out meaning its thinner so its easier to freeze.

  • surface area bitch...

  • Comment removed

  • The metal cup would stay warm for a while, as it was just inside; even at super colds temperatures you can be outside for a bit without huge clothes.

Obviously you haven't spent any time in real cold temperatures. I'm from Winnipeg, and it can easily get below -40 in the winter.

  • Hmm, tough to say if that was really water. They could of just added snow in the cup >_>.

  • Snow doesn't have steam coming off it.

  • it starts as hot water... move to MN and ill show you

  • @geekygirl29 of move to northern B.C. it's get pretty cold up here.

  • indeedy

  • its time to pay our debt in mother nature just...accept it hehe

  • it was -38 here in Minnesota today, but god damn, -60 i can imagine would be brutal

  • lol, i thought the bearded man in the beginning turned into a woman

  • lol

  • Fuck. It was -34 celsius with windchill this morning here in Ontario and I thought THAT was cold. -60 F...good god. Can't even imagine.

  • WOW...I mean OMFG...can you imagine?

  • yeahh low electricity billz cuz not frigirator needed ^^

  • damm not fair :(

  • i work in prudhoe bay and with wind chill it was -65f this week

ive only been there for 4 months and apparently it will get colder

  • Nice, i live in Anchorage.

  • -99 or - 300, it will still be better than here which is 37 degrees.. i need to migrate!!

  • my girls heart is -99, and she sucks too

  • In Alberta Canada is got Cold -47 Celsius..It Sucked!!

  • i live in Canada so you can do this pretty much everday during the winter

  • nice... that would be sweet, i live in the UK, we get rain, all the time :/

  • you mean the water was VERY hot and it was throw in a freezing weather? wow

  • thats awesome, alaska is tough, not like the whiny southerners who try to hold onto the old west stuff.

  • what if I go to Alaska all the time, but I live in California?

  • Its not that cold in alaska... I live here and its really not THAT bad.

  • fuck ebaums world that content stealing piece of shit

  • really tried i swear it works my bio teacher did it and it works its so cool

  • you made a note to yourself?

  • Note to all of you: Who actuly gives a shit about making a note to yourself?

  • note to self: write a note to yourself

  • Fuck you.

  • note to self. don't piss by my special tree

  • its just steem

  • Me to hehehe

  • Note to self: don't lay wet fart

  • exactly how cold was that?

  • The water didn't freeze instantly, it evaporated instantly.

  • water doesn't evaporate like that in cold temperatures. that was a very quick model of condensing and freezing. duhhhh.

  • That's what I just said dumbfuck. Maybe you should read before you repeat something that's already been said.

  • he cant understan it hes fucked in teh head

  • Good for you, dude. I can't find it on ebaumsworld. Big deal anyway, he steals from everybody else.
