I'm speaking from experience. I had this phone and I went over to Europe when I had it. I got service everywhere which was cool but to be honest I would suggest an android phone or Iphone over this. The "cool screen" he's talking about how it actually presses in and yeah it's cool and feels weird but it is easily broken. I broke two of these phones and got an android after. If you're not strictly a business person then there are much better phones out there.

People say this phone sucks, I beg to differ, I did fall in love at first touch when I was in California. I own one today. Love it! You also get a usb cord to connect from your computer to the phone itself. It is very helpful for loading MUSIC, PHOTOS and MORE! There is only one theme for the BlackBerry Storm. But if you search hard enough, you can find more themes. Great phone to have, the browser is amazing, tap the screen and it zooms in! Fantastic! Great video you made, shows how good it is!

Mine isn't slow at all. In fact it's very quick. Some people with the Storm may not have the latest OS upgrade. The ones in the store are so played with and people open the apps and don't close them so it may freeze it. Love the clickscreen. Beats vibrations or sound effects. Beautiful screen too.

I beg to differ...I have the pink blackberry, under verizon, and I like this so much better than the storm. When I tried the storm in the vzw store, it was soo heavy and I did not like that it was a touch screen that you have to "click" in. I felt like the phone was just a huge mousepad, everytime you press something you have to click it. Also, it moves super slow and both of the display phones were freezing. Overall, I hated it.

just got my blackberry. now ive had touch screens in the past but their nothing like this one, the screen is a button, when u press it, it clicks, its very strange but i like it. thats also the case for typing, the screen moves in with the touch of a button. the whole layout is very stylish and something u will want to brag about. and one thing i have to argue, theirs no lagging. i thought their would be but there simply isnt, plus if u were wondering the GPS (satalite navigation) is awsome.

I must say its very competitive with the Iphone, however i added up the pro's and cons. the Iphone responds alot quicker, it will load applications faster and is more sensitive to your touch. the Storm lacks this alot of the time, if not at first it will once you add a few apps such as windows live messenger. Anyway the Storm itself, very good as a business phone and an everyday phone aswell, the menus it gives you are exceptional compared to the Iphone.

Pt 2 - The music screen on the phone is really simple to use, so if you plan on adding music to the phone, you will be very comfortable with the way the Storm handles it. The GPS, surprisingly very good. no problems at all, gives you speed of your car, time of route and in case you were wondering it does actually tell you where to go, not just show you. The Messaging is not like any other phone, their is no inbox, nor sent box, it is just one list. if you open a message from a person it gives

pt 3 - you the entire message history which is very very useful. The E-mail is very well put together aswell, simple and easy to use, it separates the messages by date just like the SMS screen. Now the unique part of the Storm is its press screen, strange at first but it grows on you. and something not many reveiws tells you is that once you place the storm in its case, it automatically goes into a rest mode, saving battery. once lifted out, it sences the loss of pressure and resumes (smart)

pt 4 - (problems) ok, here we go. its not as many as you thing, the lagging (time it takes to respond) is sometimes annoying, however its only a maximum of 3 seconds. the bluetooth can be fussy aswell, you have to pair with a phone before the sending potion is allowed. that can take time. and my biggest problem with the Storm, the battery, they say its very good, however this only applys if your using it just as a phone, if u listen to music that drains the life out of it, not very good at all

I personally love the Storm. It did take a bit to get use to, but it's well worth it after you sit down with it a bit. The main reason why I got it over the iPhone is that AT&T's service out here is atrocious and expandable memory is always nice.

haven't actually tried the storm yet, but maybe it'll be on display somewhere soon and i can play around with it.

The latest version .75 is a huge improvement but it's still slow and awfully buggy. The touchscreen isn't the most responsive. During calls the screen doesn't shut off and if you press it against your face can hit one of the options such as the mute (done this a few times now). Answering a call the interface takes a few seconds to respond and display call options, etc. When (and if) Rim fix the software it'll likely be a good phone but as it stands it's difficult to recommend.

I have my contacts and calendar setup to sync (from my mac) to Google and then use Google Sync (a BB app) to sync them over the air to the storm. The apps are disappointing at this point, basically IM clients & verizon trash - no AppStore by any measure. 3rd party support is weak as of yet. I'd give it time to mature first before delving in. My brother and I have Storms and are frustrated to the point of possibly switching providers for an iphone/g1 if updates dont come soon.
