  • love the sh and vb hi hats

  • great cymbals

  • 30" Ride WOW!!!

  • i have the jr hi hats with 14" crash package and im not impressed with the hi-hats they cracked after like 6 months of use. but i do kinda like the 14" crash i have. is stagg a more recent new brand? or have they been around?

  • @iSMITH4life Those cymbals are probably just stock ones that come with Stagg kits, they don't last long but Stagg has been around for a little while. Their higher quality cymbals are quite professional in sound and make, I have some of the Myras and am VERY pleased. If I could afford all Staggs I would definitely use them.

  • I just bought my first Stagg cymbal. Some of the ones I tried right next to the big boys held their own without a doubt.

  • i am getting a stagg SH cymbal pack soon :)

  • Lol Stagg are fucking wank

  • @richardbirch2007 They sound pretty good I think.

  • @richardbirch2007

Nope, pros are starting to take notice my friend. The name may make you think they are bargain cymbals, but their upper end stuff is amazing.

  • @xsabers Indeed my friend....i use sabian and stagg and for me their almost the same during liveperformances, big or small

  • To anyone trying to figure out what those first hi-hats are:

Furia 15" Rock Hi-Hats Brilliant Finish.

I just couldn't hear what the guy was saying.

Also, imho, the DH 13" Rock Hi-Hat Brilliant Finish are sweet, too.

  • for a 30" ride that sounded bright

  • Those cymbals actually sound pretty good!

  • 2 of those 30'' rides for hihats.

  • do theese break easily?

  • I AM BUYING THAT 30" RIDE.

  • I have no idea who you are, but I really want to thank you for posting all of these videos from NAMM. So few people are able to go each year, so it goes without saying that all of us who can't go find these videos extremely helpful. So thank you.

  • i want stagg cymbals but i dont live in the uk. im in the US. anywhere i can buy them besides ebay?

  • @Burton910h i've seen some models for sell at Musician's friend. also check out interstate music. i believe they have them as well.

  • @devizzle7 thanks!!

  • @Burton910h my local music store has them just as much as any other cymbal.

  • Yupp it's official, this and Dream are my two favorite cymbal brands. I guess it all comes down to what I can find at the lowest price. Oh, internet, do not let me down.

  • what the hell would someone need a 30" ride for? not saying its a bad idea tho...

  • @ap291 Imagine using it as a crash. That would probably crack quickly xD

  • I really like the 8" vintage splash at 1:25

  • The first pair of HiHats Sound Amazing...!!!

  • i love the first hi hats it showed on this video

  • I want rock brilliant hats, Vintage bronze 8in splash, and 19in rock myra crash. awwww yeeeeee

  • 30" ride 0.0

  • @SgtCrazy128 just because they can doesn't mean they should :P

  • @SGDrummer7 agreed haha that things to big!

  • The 15in bronze hats sound nice.

  • Getting furia rock 18 tommorrow and dh medium 16 ><

  • i think the DH exo rides are sex.

  • are single hammerd better

  • @DrummerNoah No, that's the most cheapest line you can get. The better lines are Furia, Myra and Vintage Bronze.

  • Getting my Myra 16" Rock Crash and SH Rock hats soon! :D

  • ther's a site where I could listen to stagg cymbal samples?

    rock brilliance hi-hat sound fantastic...

  • freat cymbals and great prices....I would listen to others rides and some china stagg cymbals....

  • Thier pro line cymbals sound amazing and are really great. But their drums and hardware are garbage

  • argh, why can't guitar center carry more stagg cymbals? i would kill for some of those crashes and the hi hats sound absolutely amazing.

  • loving the new hats, dont like larger crashes but the smaller ones sound ok. Deff go for one of those hats though.

  • these cymbals sound great. i thought i was going to laugh at this video, but i'm actually really impressed.

  • Stagg hats sound horrible ;__;

  • @g00dGuY34 Yep. Like theyre rolled from sheet bronze.

  • @Huitzel Yeah U hate the sound.

  • @g00dGuY34 i liked em, theve got a mild trash sound to them, which i like

  • @anarcy7777u they probably fit your style of playing.

  • I think he's right, the vintage cymbals don't sound as refined as the modern ones to me.

  • @WhenxChristxReturnsx

Amen. They almost sound "sloppier" in a way. I gotta say though, those vintage bronze splashes are just fantastic.

  • @guitardude1230 Yeah, that's a good way to put it. I like the splashes too, I really want to get a modern Stagg Furia 17" Crash cymbal.

  • 40 inch ride!? u serious?

  • My first drum kit was a Stagg kit with Stagg cymbals . but they sounded NOTHING like these ones do.. im very impressed how far Stagg has evolved from back in the day.

  • Comment removed

  • They've come a long way, but the name is synonomous with a shit product. The price points on the cymbals are way too high for the man hole covers that they are. We couldn't give them away at our shop.

  • these are preety good.. but if you think theyre good check amedia cymbals. i'd have to say theyre the best ivee ever heard

  • where can i get the vintage series online??

  • yeah, very impressed

  • Those actually sound really good. I thought Stagg were like, budget cymbals? lol.

  • I thought the same, but it seems they have proven us wrong, i might actually invest in some :O

  • Same lol XD

  • You really should! I went into my local music shop to get a drum key and the drum guy asked me to try out the 17" SH Thin crash... 10 mins later I left the shop with a cymbal! lol

  • Thats what everyone thinks, but i started using them, and my friends made fun of me, but then they heard them, and theyre like, Wow...Those are amazing XD

    lol
