@lilabrah The amount you see in the clip feeds three dogs for 3+ weeks depending on what i add to the mix, which varies month by month. Cost also varies. I have a 38lb dog who gets a whole container, a 34 lb dog gets about 1/2 of a container and an active pup at 26lb getting a full container. Different breeds , age and activity level would determine amounts to feed. I go by eye, keep an eye if they loose weight i add more and if they are gaining weight i cut back. Its simple really.
Great video and tutorial. But can I feed my dog BARF diet without cooking the vegetables and without a meatgrinder? I do not have a kitchen and cannot afford a meatgrinder. Do I have to boil the vegetables? I have almost always fed my dog with raw meat and chicken wings which I break with a knife and also other porous bones, and raw vegetables and fruits, eggs and olive oil and goats yoghurt. Now, I am wondering maybe I cannot feed him correcly w/o the meatgrinder and without boiling vegetables.
@43110s The reason i part cook the veg is that i found that if i didnt the veg would pass straight through the dogs. If you are feeding like you say without any problems, then there is no need to change! I mince the wings because my dogs eat very fast and inhale their food, whole parts are not an option so i found mincing the answer.
At a guess i use the same weight in offal as i do chicken. The veg id say half that. 5kg or so. ! 12 - 24 eggs , depends how many i have at the time. Three small bags of whole grain rice which produces a large pot when cooked.
@shareourclips Thanks so much for your help, my pups thank you! They love their new diet. Cant wait to see the results. They have only been a raw for one week now.
Could you possibly tell me the weights you use for everything i know its 10kg of chicken wings but how much offal and veggies do u use in kg? Thanks for this video it helped us out alot
i cannot imagine mincing the bones. dogs need to gnaw on bones. that is what cleans their teeth. chicken bones, raw, are soft and dogs can easily eat them without mincing.
@shareourclips Raw food saved my dogs life!! Would a Wolf in the wild eat Burger king? that's what most people fed there dogs! and thats why there all sick and fat!, Great Vid!
@shareourclips Raw food food saved all my dogs lives! Most Vets and the food industry want us and our dogs eating food out of cans and bags! Wolves eat nothing but RAW MEAT and Grass! and they never get sick! Raw food contains enzymes which are critical for digestion and Health! Dogs In Alaska eat nothing but Raw fish and Reindeer meat! and they never get sick and never get Plaque on the gums and teeth! People are just brainwashed and ignorant! Stay RAW!! Good Job!
Great video! I have young Whippet too (6 months), I know you said to judge by eye but I'm kind of unsure about how much to feed because I know with puppies you're not just feeding to maintain weight.., and I can't go by his behavior either; as you probably know Whippets are never full and always act hungry trying to steal food. He's currently 20 lbs and I'm feeding two 8 oz portions a day. How much do you feed yours?
@AlbertHBarnett She is 8 months old now and eats about 3/4 of the plastic container you see at the end of the video. It's approx just over 1 lb in weight. She looks good and acts great, im sure its doing her good.
Thank you , this was very helpful :)

@magicre2145 The dogs get to chew on large raw bones once a week. The bone will last several days.

@shareourclips
thanks for your answer. you're not concerned about fracture slabs from the weight bearing bones you must be feeding?
