  • No complaints about this performance, but you really have to hear the Suite by Lou Harrison live for it to work. The sounds seem to wrap you up in themselves. It's probably the most transcendentally gorgeous pieces ever written by an American composer, but the unique instrumentation means few will hear it. If you get the chance, don't miss it.
