@swingswinglove12 its considered a double because the rotation from when his hands hit the vault to when he's perpendicular to the ground (his feet pointing down) is not in that rotation, so after that, it's a double front, however in actuality it's kinda a handspring 2.5 front.
@MrJump94 yeah, there was actually an incident where a gymnast broke both legs. he competed in the olympics a year later and if I'm not mistaken, medaled on vault. Couldn't tell you the name though
