i couldnt kill the first boss... she kept running into the furnace with me, the ai is absolutley horrible. the only way to play this game is to get yourself trained like a monkey, so that you to everything to make the bot wotk not the other way arround.
i think that the worst disappointment, was that it wasn't scary. I played RE4 and got freaked out, I couldn't even shoot straight. I was playing co-op RE5 with a friend, and it feels like I'm playing call of duty without the war theme.
dead space guns have built-in flashlights :P so when u aim, u light at the spot which doesnt really take you away from the experience :D if ur playing something of a horror genre game... i think the element of a dark place is pretty much essential :D

Dude, Tobin and Yuzo have been playing games probably longer than you've been alive. They've obviously played Contra before. It's the amount of time you use playing the level and starting over that they complained about.
Yeah... BUT! In Hard Mode you have 1 life, enemies TRY to kill your ass, and enemies do slightly more damage and I still have to say "Wow, this is still a kickass game!"

2.RE5 was meant to be an action & adventure experience(Which makes no sense when you compare it to the older RE games)...what did you think you'd be doing? Solving cross world puzzles?
3.Where do you want the gold and ammo to pop out from? Wesker ass?

You can't stun them anymore, when they do grab you many jump on you instead of one, and you would constantly have to take herbs so you wont turn into a zombie, you have to kill them with headshots then burn their body. If you don't burn them they come back stronger. Don't forget parasites still come out their body. They can't hold guns or run but it would still be hard. Now let's try this on pro mode.*Tries to kill zombie with helmet with only a pistol*

the only level i got game over in mad world was the castle level. But there are deathwatch challenges in every level that give u more points btw and you get more points by killin gmore people. But u prob k new that I was just saying incase.

I didn't buy RE5 because of the real-time inventory system and the fact you can't shoot and move at the same time. It just seems arrogant of the developers to force me to play the way they want, rather than listen to gamers to see how they want to play.

I like resident evil 5, I finished it 5 times all times with my friend.. one time at normal, another time at veteran and another one at proffessional and another one to have S on every chapter and another time to have all weapons and upgraded. So Im really addict, Im ready to finish it again one more time. I still need the Trust Your Parther Trophy.
Funny thing happened to me while I was playing alone. I was towards the end of the game when you fight the room full of flooding lickers. I knew they were coming and was preparing with the grenade launcher......and then my cellphone went off. I almost jumped off my bed. I still think they should have brought back the creepy merchant guy from 4.

I don't see why people complain that this game is racist because in Resident Evil 4 your killing Amish people and that's because they are crazy mother fuckers, what would you do if black zombies in Africa are coming at you? In GTA 3 I think you are killing black/mexican gangsters, that game didn't get the amazing amount of press this game got. Also Quantom of Solace is a good title because Solace means Safety/comfort so it means the villians will have the smalles amount of comfort/safety.=D

I personally think the game handling the race issue responsibly, but the fact that asking the question in the first place gets you laughed at is distressing.

That level could easily have been fixed with a save point right before the boss. Playing through the first time may have been fun, but going through it a second or third while you're trying to figure out the boss is just frustrating.
I'll admit, I love Mad World, but I often wish they gave you more uber-awesome-point spots where doing a few tasks nets you half your goal. I bought it, and I'll still charge through it just to see what you get as unlockables; from what I've heard, there's a hard mode, too. More happy-fun-time, right? :D

I think that's the problem: You're not exploring the area around Asia Town.
Try looking for the 3 Orbs in that level. You unlock a hidden mini-boss fight...

the only level i got game over in mad world was the castle level. But there are deathwatch challenges in every level that give u more points btw and you get more points by killin gmore people. But u prob k new that I was just saying incase.

I didn't buy RE5 because of the real-time inventory system and the fact you can't shoot and move at the same time. It just seems arrogant of the developers to force me to play the way they want, rather than listen to gamers to see how they want to play.

I like resident evil 5, I finished it 5 times all times with my friend.. one time at normal, another time at veteran and another one at proffessional and another one to have S on every chapter and another time to have all weapons and upgraded. So Im really addict, Im ready to finish it again one more time. I still need the Trust Your Parther Trophy.

Funny thing happened to me while I was playing alone. I was towards the end of the game when you fight the room full of flooding lickers. I knew they were coming and was preparing with the grenade launcher......and then my cellphone went off. I almost jumped off my bed. I still think they should have brought back the creepy merchant guy from 4.

i thought that the watchmen sex scene was very silly. just because of the Leonard Cowen music it made it less aquard and added humour to it.
ALSO new harry potter movie is coming that means new game and yea harry potter is lame but the games are truly epic i think you guys should try the new one when it comes out its kinda like tomb raider...unless they did what they did for the 4th game and make it an episodic piece of ass

I don't see why people complain that this game is racist because in Resident Evil 4 your killing Amish people and that's because they are crazy mother fuckers, what would you do if black zombies in Africa are coming at you? In GTA 3 I think you are killing black/mexican gangsters, that game didn't get the amazing amount of press this game got. Also Quantom of Solace is a good title because Solace means Safety/comfort so it means the villians will have the smalles amount of comfort/safety.=D

Wow, being offended makes people stupid? This is such a multilayered issue, and honestly I'm pretty disappointing with how the media has been handling this. People need to asking genuinely questions about the way the game depicts and handles genuine issues, but get laughed at.
I personally think the game handling the race issue responsibly, but the fact that asking the question in the first place gets you laughed at is distressing.

Yes, often times, being offended means that you're stupid. People have every right to be offended, but I also have every right to absolutely despise them for creating racial issues where there should be none. Focusing on race in a game like RE5 is pointlessly divisive, when anyone with half a brain can see that zombies in africa will be black. Getting mad about that is absurd.
There are real problems out there to get involved in, this isn't one of them. Some people live to be offended.

I don't have to give a reason. The people saying it IS racist have to give me a good reason that zombies wouldn't be black in africa that doesn't make me want to smack them with a large club. There was one guy who made an argument about the portrayal of blacks in games, and black main characters in general, and it actually made a lot of sense in seeing the other side of the argument.
Hell, even the zero punctuation guy had a good mention about the perceived racism in the game.

If the penalty for dying was perhaps, say, a big deduction of points instead of re-starting the whole level over, would you be a bit more forgiving?
In its defense, it needs SOME kind of penalty for getting a game over. Question is, what could a more 'fair' penalty that many could tolerate?

That level could easily have been fixed with a save point right before the boss. Playing through the first time may have been fun, but going through it a second or third while you're trying to figure out the boss is just frustrating.

I'll admit, I love Mad World, but I often wish they gave you more uber-awesome-point spots where doing a few tasks nets you half your goal. I bought it, and I'll still charge through it just to see what you get as unlockables; from what I've heard, there's a hard mode, too. More happy-fun-time, right? :D
