  • omgsh i know probably EVERYONE asks you this and im just too stupid to find it, but how long had you been studying japanese:))?

  • @cheerleader256 about 1 year before I went to Japan.

  • Aww.. i wish I could've been an exchange student :/ but I'm hoping to do a university course on Japanese, as I really wanna become fluent in the language! ( i know basics so far :3 so i understood about half of this video. ) During that course, I'll be able to live in Japan for a year and study there :3

  • Were you that good at speaking japanese when you first left to go to japan? or did you develop your japanese as you were there? please answer.

  • @polslu I was able to talk from the beginning. I was surprised myself. but I wasn't fluent of course I was stuttering here and there and made lot's of bad grammar. this video was 5 months after I got there.

  • @munkhjapan00 Did you know any Japanese before you started learning it (you mentioned studying for only a year)? What American (I assume this is where you live) high school level foreign language class do you think you had finished when you left for Japan? Japanese 2? 3? I'm interested in being an exchange student in the near future, but am worried my language skills are no where near up to the task yet. Thank you!

  • @inuhimesama late answer...oh well XP

Before going I studied Japanese for 1 school year. And by "studied" I mean studied with full heart. I studied in Mongolia, my school was a very Japan orientated school and taught Japanese well.

Also I think It'd be okay to not worry that much on Japanese skills, most of the other foreign students in the program knew only beginner level sentences but they rapidly learned. You should worry on finding a program and actually going to Japan first

  • i want to go to korea pr japan as an exchange student, though i'm learning english still haha and my first language is arabic ... hmmm what should i do? help please :(

  • @SasukesGur1 of course there are risks.

  • ohh, so cute ^w^

  • i really hope to go(: i'm looking over a lot of information and exchange programs! i hope by next school year i'll go. i look forward to it, however i only speak introduction, and simple things like goodnight good morning. im sorry. i love you. "nani?" and those things. would it be a major problem if i were to go under those circumstances?

  • @MissIndependent314 If you can get along with your host family it's not really a big problem. Most of the other kids that went had beginner Japanese. But it's more fun if you can understand and react to normal everyday conversations. And it might be a good idea to learn asking directions and understanding

  • 7 ppl wanna be exchange students in Japan

  • Just wondering but how high is the doorway? is it low or are they tall?

  • @BlueEyedRonin I think they're 180cm+ tall

  • I want to be in japan so bad while I'm still in high school(: not much of a possibility but still hoping. Is it lunch?

  • @MissIndependent314 If you really want to go then GO for it!. I also wanted to go while in High school and I went for it. but I was lucky on somethings hehe ^.^ Nah it's after school.
