The reason their wasn't many of the roads maintained this years is because the most of the province was flooding so the resources where allocated to that disaster. I know this because my brother was dealing with the flood for 18 hours a day in two week stretches then getting only one weekend off. Even with pulling most of the city workers they where still very short handed. Maybe educate yourself before making comments.

Statisticlly yes, majority of crimes are commited by natives which has lead to a bad image of the native population but that hardly comes close to everyone. Anyone who grew up in these poor areas and graduated can tell you that most wont go anywhere but I did graduate with my native friends ( not all i lost some to gangs and drugs), my girlfriend whom I graduated with two years ago is now dedicated to becoming a CFS worker.
