I honestly feel so sorry for those two poor girls. They've had NOTHING else taught to them but this bullshit propaganda. This is exactly why I don't take the bible too seriously. I'm a Christian but I would have to be stupid to think that everything written in the bible is pure and heartfelt. Men have always used the "fear of God" to manipulate people and this is a clear example - people taking a message and wrapping it with bible verses and twisted logic. I learned long ago that you must develop your own morals and beliefs - it's too easy to get manipulated by following people whose "job" it is to judge others.

Everyone is entitled to live their live as they want. Third, sometimes true Christians might judge someone else, but that's the human in them. A true Christian will try not to do that though. No one is perfect. All of mankind should love each other. God hates the sins that we commit, but he loves the sinner. We are all equal in His eyes.

I joined a counter protest against these people a few months back in Florida, Shirley and another man who was not Fred Phelps were there. I have a purely hypothetical question that requires no actual answers here, just a thought and reflection on it in your own mind. If homosexual people are presumed to "born gay" and they could isolate the gene that causes it and through gene therapy "cure" it after birth or "fix it" in the womb would you do so?? @MoreThanPerfection but the stuff they believe is so abnormal and the fact that they are disrespectful to funerals, they are like the KKK, very few believe their message, plus they are making their children believe the same thing and bringing with them to picket which puts them in harms way. so not only are they crazy, they potentially abusing their children

@spud92988 I completely, totally agree with you. Their religion is extreme to say the least. But it's like she was intentionally goading them into getting angry, and then making a spectacle out of their anger, as though they were angry to begin with. I don't like when people in the media do that to make a point. But, once again, I completely agree with you when you say that they are harmful and demented.
