No updates. The news has said the case has gone cold, and the police and family are offering a combined reward of $75,000. I have a feeling this won't get solved.

Scared , the attack I am assuming by what we have been told , took place in front of the SUV , the people in the cars behind the SUV , may not have wittnessed the attack , and maybe that's why no one wrote down the licence plate number , police also said it was very fast , so hope they have a break in this case realy soon

The police can probably access his phone records, so they might be looking at that angle too. Sometimes they don't say everything they have. It's still pretty early in the investigation. I don't think it was a case of him touching the car, and they couldn't have known his sexual orientation just from him walking on the street. Something else was involved in this.

What a horrible way to die. We need to keep pressure on the police to solve this case. Four people in that car know what happened. One of them must come forth and report this senseless crime. This could very well be a homophobic attack. I was just at the vigil and it was very moving. There were way more people there than I was expecting. It's nice to see so many gays and lesbians, as well as straight people coming together to express their grief and support each other.
This is very disturbing. It could have happened to anyone. All you need to do is come across the wrong people at the wrong time. Maybe these guys are criminals. The police probably have video footage showing their faces.
If you look at the footage, the SUV passes him, then he walks in the direction of it. Maybe he was lured to his death? I haven't heard any witness descriptions of what was said.
It's possible he was at the same club as the killer, maybe he hit on him? The driver spotted him later on the street and beat him up and ran him over. This killer definitely wasn't shy about committing murder in an area that I think has a lot of police cameras, at least they were there for a while when the police were cracking down on trouble makers in the club district.
I'm so upset that this happened, i only pray that these horrible people are caught and brought to justice. He looked like such a nice young man, just a horrible thing that happened...Why are people in this world so cruel? Why..?

It has reinforced the understanding that hate crime does occur.

Thank you. For me, silent CCTV footage is a bit stark, and the music humanizes it, and hopefully gives comfort, whereas the vigil images are warm.

it is a gay gate crime with no doubts. The gay community, friends, parents say that! An article on global confirmed again the positions of friends, parents, and his father said, chriss did already have problems on the street, he was hearing people yell things about at him because he was gay! The police will not accept that, it is unacceptable

no one can speculate if this was a hate crime or not, because if you could, you were probably there meaning, you can help solve this case. lets leave this to the pros to figure out before it gets labeled a hate crime. because we jsut simply dont know... AND yes its a shame, but maybe its a lesson, dont get involved with ppl you dont know

The police are only speaking what they have strong evidence for. Random crimes involving women or children generate speculative police warnings, why not one such as this?

What a horrible way to die. We need to keep pressure on the police to solve this case. Four people in that car know what happened. One of them must come forth and report this senseless crime. This could very well be a homophobic attack. I was just at the vigil and it was very moving. There were way more people there than I was expecting. It's nice to see so many gays and lesbians, as well as straight people coming together to express their grief and support each other.

This is very disturbing. It could have happened to anyone. All you need to do is come across the wrong people at the wrong time. Maybe these guys are criminals. The police probably have video footage showing their faces.
If you look at the footage, the SUV passes him, then he walks in the direction of it. Maybe he was lured to his death? I haven't heard any witness descriptions of what was said.

It's possible he was at the same club as the killer, maybe he hit on him? The driver spotted him later on the street and beat him up and ran him over. This killer definitely wasn't shy about committing murder in an area that I think has a lot of police cameras, at least they were there for a while when the police were cracking down on trouble makers in the club district.

I'm so upset that this happened, i only pray that these horrible people are caught and brought to justice. He looked like such a nice young man, just a horrible thing that happened...Why are people in this world so cruel? Why..?

this is a horrific crime...cars are murder weapons and it is time we treated the occupants as potential murderers...michael bryant should be found guilty and spend life in prison...as should the cowards who commited this dispicable crime against an innocent man....it is a war every day against drivers and pedestrians and cyclists and the war should end now...convict the quilty without mercy...murder is murder...and innocence is lost...we can't afford to lose another gentle soul to these cowards

Very true, no matter who is attacked like this, it is wrong.
Sometimes Gay people (and others) have been sought out and targeted in random attacks, so those communities are justifiably defensive.
My intention was not to bring in politics, simply to accumulate ALL information available.
