i dont get it u just swap sims few times & it unblocks it? i found an iphone fror that had beenn blocked and i went to a shop but they said u cant unlock it coz its been blocked does that mean theres nothing i can do?
I found a iPhone 4 and it is Blocked on Orange network (UK). Can anyone help me unblock this phone I've tried this video but it didn't work. Isn't there some sort of software that can unblock the IMEI?
@ogjbot man f!%* you. I said I found it and I did, It was on the floor someone must have dropped it. You know some people DO loose phones idiot and I found it. If i knew who's it would I would happily give it back but no1 has rang on it and its been over a month now!
@amochana Well if you dont want to pay for someone to unlock for u i suggest looking upto jailbreaking it look what your firmware version is by going on settings about then down to version :D
@TrolledCinema Hi, thanks for your reply. I actually did jailbreak it with Cydia but it didn't stop the 'No Service' text appearing at the top. I keep putting different sim's in and its still saying 'No Service' :s
hey i have a problem on my iphone 4 .after updating to ios 5.0.1 my phone was locked to o2 i seem to get no signal at all.then i called o2 and requested unlock which apple unlocked the phone for me .then i tried putting my mates sim card in my iphone diffrent network it work flawless and fine when i put my sim in his it worked fine.when i put my o2 sim card back in my phone i get no signal at all.is this a hardware issue or something because my phone is not barred just wont get signal on o2 .
thank you very much mate :) it works on my iphone 4s!!!!!!!! i found one 2weeks ago lucked by Vodafon and i unlucked it straght from vod webside n last night found ur video.i tell my experience.i did ur method alot.At first just losing netword i should do it again but once i puted the iphone in air mode it works n then i turned it off and works again just when i toke off the sim card didn't work but just after few second without chenging sim card it worked. its kind of getting perminent for me.
Hey mate, I don't think it works on the iPhone 4S. Coz I have one, bought it second hand...and the b*tch reported it, I think. I placed my sim on my Sensation first...made sure it had reception, can check voice mail and balance....then I transferred it to the blocked 4S...still doesn't work. :(
Hi mate, thanks for this video, I am amazed that it works. I have found out that YOU DONT NEED your "donor" phone to be another iPhone. I have an old Samsung SGH D500 and it worked without a problem :) Just as long as the iphone is on, it will work.
I would love to know how and why it works though. Thanks again :)
@intheshitter You're welcome :) Yeah, you can try another smartphone instead of an iPhone and it should work as well!! I think it might be something with the way it picks up 3G? Glad it works at least :)
i tried it on vodafone postpaid n yesssss it worked
it also works on 3 network...i tried to call 133320 and then disconnected and put the sim in imei blocked iphone and yesssss it worked.i used the phone for 1 hour and if the signals are alwayz strong n u didnt turn off ur phone it will work..but it again got blocked bcoz i have poor reception......but this trick works mate........thanxxxx
@notoriousjattz I'm very glad it worked for you also. If you are with Telstra you probably use the phone in a tunnel and would still not drop out :) Better my my temp solution than nothing I say!
@iPhoneDownUnder yes telstra have strong network...thanxxx mate...i think this imei block is for 2 years and then it is removed from the database of atma..what do you say???
hi umm i have iphone 4 and it has worked for me! but when i turn my phone off,or when i lose receiption or when i put plane mood and than i can't make any phone calls after it again. i have to put my voda simcard in my other phone and than put it back in my iphone than it works again. so how do i fix this please thanks
@supermonkey61 Hi, I'm Glad it works for you the way I have advised it does :) Unfortunately, Yes, as soon as you loose reception the phone gets blocked again! You have to do the whole process again which isn't that bad since there is NO permanent imei unblock!!! This is the ONLY way around it for now!!
@arikiixo Hi, there is NO permanent imei unblock, ONLY my temporary method for now!! Please follow the description I have written under the video for guidance, I tried to make it as Simple as I can. Just take a working sim straight out of a working smartphone while it's on and place it in the imei blocked iPhone while it's also on and when reception appears, you will than be able to make calls until you loose reception again.
@sam23798 There is no way on unblocking it, ur phone should not be blocked overseas! I have temporarily unblocked iPhone 3GS with my method shown in video but I haven't tested it on iPhone 4. Give it a try!
hi umm i have iphone 3G and it has worked for me! but when i turn my phone off,or when i lose receiption or when i put plane mood and than i can't make any phone calls after it again. i have to put my voda simcard in my other phone and than put it back in my iphone than it works again. so how do i fix this please?
I can garuntee this works, its not a permanent fix and its not from imei blocking that causes this, its a phone that hasnt been unlocked properly to all simcards, i do it curently with my iphone 3g and my nokia 5000, the iphone is unlocked to vodaphone and i currently have an optus simcard after changing companies, i have used ultrasn0w but i still get an issue after about 1 day where i have to take the simcard out and swap it again, THOUGH if you DONT make a txt from ur phone it last longer
@m4gicstu I Never said this method is Guaranteed to work!! It worked on the iPhones I used, I've also had numerous people who tried it after watching my video and it worked for them too! This should work for everyone but that doesn't mean it will! As long as you did exactly as I mentioned in the description and video!
@iPhoneDownUnder ur r right...i tried on a blocked imei iphone 3gs and it worked.i have vodafone postpaid sim n i was able to call n text but i never tried it on three mobile sim card..will it work on any active sim bcoz i have three sim card that i want to use but bcoz of poor signals i am afraid it will not work fine as i live in area of poor reception.....
thanxxx for this gr8 trick....i am looking for more.......thanxx mate....
@abstracks1 Don't comment if you don't know what you are talking about!! The Video shows the AMTA website and it clearly stated that imei is Blocked - the iPhone I tried this on is the IMEI Blocked shown!! I checked it on the AMTA.org.au website, it's a website that tells you if your IMEI is or isn't Blocked!!! Believe it or Not, I DON'T CARE. Good luck to you!
@DJDarkRhyme Your Reception SHOULD pick up after a short while like mine did!!! However, pls understand that the Reception has Nothing to do with the IMEI Block!!!! An IMEI Blocked phone will STILL have normal reception, the only difference is that every time you attempt to make a Call, it verifies your IMEI with the Blocked IMEI Registry and than notifies you if it's blocked/barred! The fact that it says call failed because your loosing reception is to do with some other issue I would guess.
@DJDarkRhyme I Never said this method is Guaranteed to work!! It worked on the iPhones I used, I've also had numerous people who tried it after watching my video and it worked for them too! This should work for everyone but that doesn't mean it will! As long as you did exactly as I mentioned in the description and video! The Call Failed Error is NOT from IMEI Blocking, IMEI Blocked Phone can still Dial, it's when the Network Company picks up that it's IMEI Blocked when it will warn you!
wait one month and you will see what will happen... you still getting signal because it takes a while for all operators definitely locked your IMEI. Wait and you will see I'm right! by esperience!
@raphaelprotetico The iPhone IMEI was Blocked over a year ago, so all Networks have Already blocked it as you can see in the video that it was blocked with Optus & Vodafone YET I was able to get it working with a Vodafone Sim with my special trick :)
@michelespiritlevel I uploaded this Video so others can see how I got this iPhone 3GS working even though it was imei blocked and to try it for themselves if they want. I did NOT upload it to provide viewers with Techincal Support or Assistance on how to do it on other iPhones! I'm Not a Technician or an Assistant!
@LATINO850 Not sure why you're Confused and I don't think there is much I can do for you! I have written a long and good description and a clear video which shows you the steps I took! Can't be any simpler than that!!
Hi I have 2 iPhone 4 & one is blocked & I'm a little unclear as to WAT u r doing and do u no the number I have to put in for Orange Network Please help me & great Vid MANY THANKS
@michelespiritlevel Not sure I can make it any clearer than I already have with my Video & Description. Turn both your iPhone 4's ON, after that Remove the working sim from the working iPhone 4 while it's still ON, than insert the working sim into the BLOCKED IMEI iPhone 4 while it's ON as well, then wait till the Reception comes back and attempt to make a Call, it should Now work until you loose reception again, which you will have to repeat the process again. Hope that helps you :)
ive been doing the exact same thing :) another way to unblock it is to swap sim card around, if u dont have another phone! i did this for about 3 week then my phone suddenly became fully unblocked
@holliemai100 - The iPhone is IMEI Blocked, the message you heard is because it's IMEI Blocked and when Vodafone is sending your IMEI number to initiate the call, it's getting a response from the AMTA to alert it it's a blocked imei, so since the block was from Optus, vodafone alerts you with the generic call baring message!!! It has Nothing to do with the sim, as you can see I made a call from the sim card and it's working Perfectly!! Believe me or not, it doesn't matter, I know it worked :)
