I resemble that remark. In my defense I was only 19, and then I grew up. I was also into the whole "Chariots of the Gods" (ancient alien visitation) thing as well. I find that conspiracy theories are quite popular among atheists. It's a combination of our natural skepticism taken to the extreme, and a desire for mystery that is missing when you don't believe in the supernatural.
I like this video. At one time or another I have been intrigued by some of the conspiracy theories that you mentioned. I think I'm a sucker for them. Like 9/11, I spent many, many hours trying to debunk Loose Change and couldn't. The government sucks! They have still done nothing to debunk it. Thank you YouTube user RKOwens4! I like this video. At one time or another I have been intrigued by some of the conspiracy theories that you mentioned. I think I'm a sucker for them. Like 9/11, I spent many, many hours trying to debunk Loose Change and couldn't. The government sucks! They have still done nothing to debunk it. Thank you YouTube user RKOwens4! This guy debunked all of the 9/11 crap and I am so greatful to him. Why didn't my government debunk it? I'm with you, they played our fears against us to go to war.

Great Bush picture choices! Not to mention all fabulous points. I've never understood people who say the moon landing isn't real. All their "evidence" has been systematically tested in labs and completely debunked so many times. Even MythBusters did a segment on it!

I think hidden, mass conspiracy is really hard to pull off. If it was so easy, wouldn't they have planted WMD in Iraq? Note that I said "hidden". Not the obvious, in our face incident you mention at the start of this video.

There is reasonable evidence to suggest they ignored a potential threat. But, it does not seem likely to me that they knew the exact nature of the threat or how deadly it would turn out to be.

Yep, ignored warnings from CIA (negligence) then lied about Sadaam and WMD to start a private war for profit and vengeance (for Daddy Bush) . If someone is a conspiracy theorist, here was one they could have sunk their teeth into and tasted real blood for a change.

I agree on some points you have provided, .... But I disagree the government caused 911 or anything of that sorts, or helped people collapse the twin towers or created missles to hit the pentagon. I disagree with all that, because there is evidence that planes actually collided with those buildings... However, it was the Bush government, so I cannot really be certain...

The evidence is there, that the plane took out 2 thirds of all the support trusses and it would be still able to stand but than it was the fire that mangled the rest of the support.

Alex, I think we agree 100%. I don't think the government had anything to do with it other than negligence. They were warned by Richard Clarke who was the head of the CIA and they kept blowing him off. BUT what I say about conspiracy was the conspiracy to lie to the American people about Sadaam and WMD in order to get approval for their little war.

I didn't even think until a few minutes ago that its almost 9/11 again. I pretty much got over the little bit of doubt I had after seeing Penn & Tellers Bullshit on 9/11. I gotta admit some of that stuff can be convincing.

Did you ever see a building rigged to blow, on say MythBusters or a similar show? Wires all over. Bombs everywhere. How does one do that in a working building? Would not the custodial and maint. staff have wondered why there were bomb like devices everywhere?
