@DummkopfRadar Plastic Bertrand (Roger Allen François Jouret) was just the face, theguy you see dancing and jumping in the old videos. This guy (Lou Deprijck) was the original composer and the voice of the song (and the voice of the first 3 PLastic Bertrand albums). lrn2google :-)

Sur les quatre premiers albums de Plastic ..... c'était alors du lipsinc comme milli vanilli que Plastic faisait.... À partir de l'album 'Plastiquez vos baffles (1981)' plastic bertrand a débuter à chanter lui même.... Tous les gros hits de Plastic ont été composés et interprété par Lou Deprijck....

Lou Deprijck is definitely the original singer, look in the way he sing and compare to the original. And by the way you can try some live version of this song with the actual Plastic Bertrand, you will know that he can't sing... it's terrible.

Great version. Am shocked, but not surprised that Lou was the singer on the original version. Same old story of one guy supplying the style & another the substance.Bought the album in Beziers on an exchange trip in the late 70's, it was my joint 2nd album that i ever bought along with the first telephone album. Still don't regret my choice. It's not the only good track on the album.
