it might be possible if you already had homebrew channel installed, but if you do not have the HBC then currently there is no way to downgrade from 4.0.

Quick questions...

1. If my wii already has a modchip will the TW hack work?

2. If thw TW hack will work will I still be able to play my old burned games?

3. After I finish with the TW hack can I delete that file from the Wii and put back the real TW file to continue playing TW?

The TP hack enables homebrew through a software modification. A modchip enables homebrew through a hardware mod. If you have a modchip you do not need to execute the TP hack. I do believe you need to make a bootable DVD of the HBC more info on this can be found on the homebrew channel homepage. There are other ways of doing this but i am not familiar with the modchip scene. Sorry.

when i click on the homebrew channel to extract AC/CF to sd card there is no choices to do the extraction. I looked and my AC/CF is not deleted, does it have to be deleted before I can save to the SD card? My daughter is freaking out saying "No MOM", the game will be gone ~ oh boy, what now???

Okay I am going to try your new link for the homebrew channel, but why doesn't it download into a colorful folder like yours, it downloads into a zipped folder and then I can't open it.  Aren't you suppose to be able to go on the homebrew channel?

Shoot, when I save it on the card like that the card shows to be blank in the wii, but when I check it on my computer the boot.dol and RZDE files are there, what am I doing wrong? OMG I am ready to give up! Please help :(

Ok, the Homebrew is renamed to boot.dol and the size is 16.4 mb and the RZDE file is 100 kb, does that sound right to you? Also, when I went into properties the "Read Only" box was checked, so I unchecked it, is that right to do? Debbie

I have 3.4, I figured out how to extract, I am using RZDE files and Twilight Hack 2 and my SD car is 2 GB and is blank, well except the apps, private, temp, wad, wiiload, boot.dol and instructions from the download.

remove everything from your sd card and only put the correct save file on your SD card and the hombrew channel renamed as boot.dol on the root of your SD card. Are you using the twilight hack for system menu 3.4?

What system menu do you have? Did you download winrar to unzip the file? Which save file did you use and are you sure it is the correct file? more information please

I have tried this three times and I cant seem to get the Homebrew channel to download right. It downloads as this the_homebrew_channel-1_0_1_tar­.gz and then says "Windows cant open this file. What am I doing wrong? Please help.

I want to watch divx movies I have in my USB Drive + Photos. After applying this hack, am I going to be able to do this?

To your first questions yes 3.4U is the same as 3.4.

Your second question: I do not think you can connect an external hardrive to your wii. I do believe with other regular USB storage devices it is possible to load your movies from the thumbstick or a SD card.

Hi I watched your other video also.. trying to figure out how to add Actookit.. and it said I need ,Actoollikt, save extractor and save installer apps.. I downloaded them extracted them and then put them on sd card. I went to Homebrew and it said read sd card and nothing. i never saw the files.

can you help me.
