  • samoyedfan this is obviously not a half decent song & still people enjoy it around the world. you are the joke u stupid idiot..

  • i know nicky in this band lol

  • Souvenirs, souvenirs .... je croyais jamais la revoir cette prestation - bonne surprise - merci

  • the moustasche guys keith lemons dad

  • שיר מדהים,משגעת אותי איכות הביצוע.....................

  • Şahane parça yauuvv.. Yıllar öncesine gittim.. :)))

  • Even though you're only 3.. O.o

  • ah, the days when those funny countries were stuck behind the iron curtain and Berlin wall and didn't have a say. or a UK National insurance number.

  • They are good, I was only "3"....back then.

  • good melody, tender and very cute words, for a father who goes to work and asks his child to wait for him until he gets back. Why don't they make such songs today? I was nearly 4 when the song contest took place, but I remember it on radio many years later. I love it!

  • @Minimoo93 lol

  • @Minimoo93 Three's nothing creepy about that line. It's about a father who's going to work and he's telling his little girl (who is 3) to save her kisses for him. This is a beautiful song.

  • @Minimoo93 APPROVED

  • @Minimoo93 its not creepy he's singing about his daughter.

  • I feel happy! :D

  • Best choreography ever!

  • This is when there was not so much political and tactical voting, and generally a half decent song would win, now it is just a joke.

  • My little sister performed this song twice, once in her class, and once in her Brownies, with three different girls each time. I was soooo proud of her LOL :)

  • Esta cancion huviera sido mejor que huviese salido en 1975 ya que fue el año que naci yo y yo quiero volver a ser como en la foto del cochito para siempre.

  • I was born in 1983 so this predates me by far, and sure, I knew the song well and had liked it for its 'twist ending' and always thought that's why it won. But this is the first time I've actually watched the performance, and I have to say: this choreography was excellent. It flowed, it was rhythmic, it matched the lyrics: a wonderful on-the-night performance. I always thought Katrina was the most deserving UK winner, but BoM, despite their later mediocre copies, totally deserved their win here.

  • I can't stop smiling after watching this :) :) :)

  • GREAT ,FUNNY, PERFEKT: 35 YEARS OLD AND A BIG PARTYHIT EVER AND EVER!!! BRAVO BROTHERHOOD OF MAN.

  • They were charming even if a bit cheesy- why ask for anything more?

  • my favourite from 1976

  • La mejor canción de Eurovisión de Eurovisión de todos los tiempos

  • sweetheart song

  • Funny performance, but a nice song.

  • i love this song because it brought me luck and reminds me happy moments. however i always thought it was very similar as a composition to "tie a yellow ribbon round the old ole tree" (Tony Orlando and the Dawn).

  • The poor man's Abba.

  • @thatsme1945 yes what abba didd worked so others completely copied their looks

  • One of my earliest memories was watching this song on Eurovision song contest and singing it from then on.

  • Fresas...

  • This song is cute

  • Love the theatrical winks!!

Is it me, or does everyone in the 70's look as rough as a badger right buttock?

  • nicki's from carmarthen and where proud of that..

  • gay and stupid

  • @alinbsam and so are you

  • Musically this could be 1966, though that's pushing it! Good fun though, despite being far more old-fashioned than the New Seekers in '72, the next most successful Eurovision act of the decade.

  • @IThinkYouLookLarvely Sorry- I'm speaking of 70s Eurovision of the UK!

  • my great grandma loved this song in the 70s - and she was straight!

  • Me encanta la manera cómo actúan en el escenario...Merecieron ganar

  • AMAZING!!

  • this is why sex pistols came then......oi oi oi !!!

  • This is not a copy or an imitation of ABBA.....This was more a poor imitaion of Tony Orlando & Dawn's "Tie A Yellow Ribbon Around The Old Oak Tree" without the harmonica....and lacking their personality.

  • jezus this strange even for the 70's

  • They didn't win by the biggest margin in history. They actually got the largest percentage share of the possible vote in Eurovision - that is until 2009.

  • I adore this song...yet can't help thinking this came out of the UK only 6 years after the Beatles broke up...Hehehehee.....

  • @Eilatj Its the Eurovision, asshole, not the Ivan Novello Awards

  • oh and they hold the record for biggest ever win on points and tere brits xx

  • and tere still going after 36 years with abba take the money stuff the fans .benny said never play again whot a tosser

  • just came back from butlins skeggy they was on .oh my god fantastic whot a group stunning best by far .got the crowd all going well done group xx

  • this makes me sick. these people have the nerve to copy a great group like ABBA and say "oh no, we didn't mean to." i mean have you heard their song "angelo??" total fernando rip off. it just shows that these people never thought they could make it as themselves so they copied ABBA. if they did that today its something called plagerisim and they could have gotten arrested. so brotherhood of man is really dumb and stupid and ABBA is the best!!!! <3 u bjorn benny agnetha and frida! this is 4 u!!

  • A najlepsza fryzura jeśli jeszcze nie wiecie krótko z przodu długo z tyłu i wąsy na przedzie.

  • omg...iv always remembered this song from my childhood... i was only 2 yrs old at the time, but how stuff sticks in your head after 34 yrs!!!! (its my 36th bday today) lol... great memories x

  • A GREAT MOMENT!!

  • Bell Bottoms!!!!!!!!!!!! That sure brings back old memories. I remember some of their songs here in the States.....

  • One of the best moments in ESC!!!!!!

  • I had a random urge to listen to this song... And I'm glad I went with it!!

  • franchement ça déchire lol ; ils méritaient bien de gagner - it rocks, they deserved to win

  • fantastic song

  • Remember the song... never knew who sang it... lol

but do also remember the name:

    brotherhood of man... Lol ??

    LEE in Australia

  • Alyn Ainsworth, total legend - love the dance moves, may bust a few of them out myself in nothing but my pants!

  • The poundshop abba.

  • 70's were so silly ......

  • @tonymontana1974 Yep, definitely the poor man's ABBA. Even that pitiful song 'Angelo' they came up with seemed to have been inspired by a certain ABBA great.

  • Quite tolerable. It often seemed the rule that the best one doesn´t win. But this is good not too sugary and in the time not too much played.

  • He could sell me a 2nd hand car anyday!

  • Ah such happy memories of the euro contest and fights with my family over whether the winner had merit or not. I loved it all!

  • Greatest eurovision song ever!

  • @8jukesj Excuse me but... have you heard Greece's song for that year????!!!!! It's unbelievable good!! Called "Panagia mou, Panagia mou. You must hear singer's voice and then tell me who's must be first!!! My God, these guys are not singing, they just dancing... And their song is for crying... or laughing...!!!!!

  • @fgront well non-english songs dont often too do well and im only expressing my opinion and dont forget its not just the song its the performance as a whole, singing, dancing, effects etccccc

  • @fgront The UK wiped the floor with you that year - get over it!

  • @8jukesj (1 of 2) Ok, it's your opinion and -of course- I can't do anything about it. But, I spoke like professional musician as I am... Musically, a "song" means: 1.voice technic, 2.performance, 3.melody, 4.rythm combinations and 5.orchestration and Greece 's song (and maybe some others of that year also...) had ALL of them!!!

  • @8jukesj (2 of 2) Dancing is A PART OF performance and performance is 1 OF 5 PARTS of a song. Unfortunatelly we don't LISTEN music but we try to SEE it and that 's not wright (to my opinion), because music is very rich to "close" it in a poor dancing performance! Search in YT for "Enjoy Joshua Bell's Performance in Washington in the morning". It shows the way that we (people) behave Thanks, with no bad feelings at all! :-)

  • @fgront well many songs throughout the years not just eurovision have not been musically good but have sold millions and become legendary, eurovision is about winning votes not pleasing other musicians

  • @8jukesj Mmmm... I totally desagree with you but..., ok, that's life. Cheers :-)

  • @8jukesj

    You gotta be kidding

  • I used to fancy him like mad..still do!

  • classic 70s guy with tha mustach

    I LOVE YOU!

  • I love their clothes, the dance and the guy's hair and moustache. 70s are so funny...

  • I wanna go back in time and jus chill and shoot the shit with those two fellas

  • united kingdom won by a lot of points that year just like in...

    1967

    1997

  • It was still political then... but at least proper artists still won.

  • ganz schön alt.....

  • This brings back so many fantastic child hood memories for me. I was there, my school was across the street and my brother worked in that building so I got to see the rehearsals that afternoon. WOW MEMORIES!!!

  • cool! this song is cute

  • If we still had the evil songwriting genius who concocted this desperate slice of cheese, we'd win Eurovision every year, instead of getting nul points. His sugary talents were even enough to overcome the Choreographer from Hell.

  • lol

  • I've only heard this song once when i was younger and i can still remember the words :)

    Really good song

  • Simply great!

  • Actually, as a kid I didn´t get what this song´s about quite right: I just thought what a nerve this guy has, leaving the girl for good (ha ha) and telling her to save ALL her kisses for him for the rest of her life :)

  • I didn't use to be a big fan of this song, but I now think... who can resist this, really? As much as I love the French entry of that year, this was just a made winner from the first note. It's cute, catchy and compelling; most definitely a deserved winner and classic.

  • You´re right. And somehow this is getting better year after year, even without that compelling stage performance.

  • I loved 'Un deux trois '- the French Entry by Catherine Ferry as well- but I really wanted Brotherhood of Man to win. 'Save your kisses'has had its fair share of knockers over the years - but it has worn well. Thanks for posting

  • super!

  • This 1976 edition of the Eurovision Contest was taking place in The Netherlands - my country, so being 12 at the time, I watched the broadcast with special interest. I really really wanted the Dutch artist to win of course, but once I had heard this British contribution, I knew who the winner was going to be.

A sharper contrast to today's 'music' in the EU Contest is not possible, BTW.

  • one of uks finest moments in the song contest.and rhe oscar goes to lol

  • this is maybe the best song ever in The ESC, a great stage performance too...well donne UK! Greetings from Portugal!

  • Maybe just about there among the top 15, but it´s good, it´s a classic and it´s the very first song for me to hear live in Eurovision! This being I believe the first entry of the 1976 competition...

  • Que buen tema.WONDERFULL !!!!

  • The dancing made the song, and won the night.

  • nice dancing guys

    =|

  • Simply Great

  • I have to say this is my faverite song....

  • my mom's fav of that year(i have 1976 on dvd)
